Was good until I found a long, blonde hair in my breakfast sandwich. The prices are great, but you get what you pay for. Haven’t gone back since then and am not planning to ever again either. Rodies is 2 mins away and has better food and the prices aren’t too much more.

The best bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich I’ve ever had. Delicious. I usually order to go. The inside is ok. It’s a dive of a diner, but it has charm and is very busy on the weekends. Also very reasonably priced.

We heard such good things about this place but were sadly disappointed. The place itself is dirty, there was food all over the back of the restaurant floor. The food was lack luster. My omelette was okay, a little overcooked and my hubby got country fried steak that looked like it was fried in grease that had never been changed it was dark brown colored when squeezed out of the steak. We would never go there again especially when there are so many other options out there.

Absolutely the worst breakfast ever. My husband and I have driven past George’s several times on the way to sunset park and decided to stop last weekend and give them a try. We like mom and pop dinners and thought this might be one to add to our regular list. Boy were we wrong. The staff was super friendly but the food was horrible. My husband took a gamble on the steak and eggs. The meat was fatty and grey — yes grey. It was covered with oregano and marinated in way too much vinegar. The texture was chewy and spongy. Now I like oregano as well as the next person, any self respecting Italian does but the copious amount that covered this steak was ridiculous. And yes I marinade meat to tenderize it but it should never TASTE like vinegar. We suffered from stomach issues the rest of the day. Yuck! The rest of the fare was edible — eggs, toast, bacon but it didn’t come to us as ordered. All in all I wouldn’t recommend George’s.

I read several mixed reviews before deciding to eat here. If you’re really hungry(like we were) it will fill the void but I would not return unless I was super hungry again. That’s all I got to say.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now… they have some of the best 2 for 1 deals! I don’t have anything negative to say about this restaurant. they are cheap, clean, and their food is always picture perfect!

Yesterday late morning we went to George’s Breakfast Station 600 S Pinellas Ave, Tarpon Springs, FL34689 Corner of MLK and Alternate 19(S Pinellas Avenue) We ordered our food and the waitress brought the drinks. We noticed the glass was not that clean and we looked around and the restaurant was far from clean but we figured we would see what the food was like when we got it. The waitress brought the food and we just started eating when we looked down at the floor and noticed a cockroach walking right by our table! We got up and explained we cannot eat this after seeing that. The owner came out from the back and said he sprays every month. Upon talking to him at the register we could see in the kitchen. It was disgusting the floors were black even though it appeared to be light color tiles back there. There were food on the floor under shelves that appeared to be there a while without being cleaned up. The counters were dirty and old food stuck to it. This place should not be open in this condition. Please investigate this place and bring this to light for people that do not realize what they are eating here.

WORSTCUBANSANDWICH I HAVEEVERHAD. Specifically asked if they were hot pressed and was told yes. Watched the guy with my own eye microwave it and when I asked they said they do not microwave them they are pressed. Should have known better we were the only ones in the place.

I give this place 5 stars because I’m not sure anywhere will serve you food faster than this little diner. The food is your run of the mill breakfast menu and tastes run of the mill but it is also priced appropriately. Isn’t that a novel idea charging a fair price? Some other restaurants in the other should take some hints from George’s. Our server was in a great mood and she was always available if we needed anything. I think for my eggs and hash browns with a coffee I paid $ 6. The best part when I paid the chef/owner asked me how it was and if everything was OK. Imagine that a concerned business owner. This type of place is to rare in today’s environment. I will definitely be back just because of how fast our food was ready and how nice everyone was.

Fabulous greasy spoon diner for breakfast. We rode up from Clearwater to meet friends for breakfast on Sunday. Place was full when we arrived but we grabbed a freshly vacated table almost immediately. It’s an old drive-thru hamburger joint repurposed as a hole-in-the-wall diner. Bit noisy because it’s small inside and all hard surfaces. Standard grilled fare on the breakfast menu. Waitresses were friendly and attentive. George is taciturn and does all the cooking. Very reasonable prices. We’ll be back.

We read about Georges in the reviews and decided to give it a try. We were almost put off by the looks of it, an old drive in restaurant. It was small inside and we sat down in the tiny dining room where you can watch the kitchen making our order. We did eat here for breakfast. My husband had pancakes and I had a Greek Omelet. The food was good, presented well and it was the most reasonable breakfast we had eaten out on our whole trip to Fl. Waitress was friendly. Had a real mix of different types of people. Asked the cashier who was George and it was him. He does all the cooking too. Very friendly environment.
