Everything I stated in my previous review still stands about Crescent Oaks. I’m not a member, but I play here 4 – 5 times a year because the property is semi-private and employees are nice to those of us who are not members. However, my most recent afternoon round gave me the pleasure of driving brand new golf carts here. They are extremely comfortable and gas powered, despite the fact that there are no elevation changes to navigate anywhere on the property. The director of golf here was very appreciative of me asking about the new carts and actually apologized when I told him that my previous visit to Crescent Oaks was for a tournament where there were not enough carts to start on time because they were on their last legs of a four-year lease agreement. Seems like something different impresses me every visit here, which is another reason I rarely hesitate to play this course either for a leisurely 18 holes on my own or with my friends in a tournament. Now, if the entire development could just convince the county to put a damn traffic light outside the security gate! Those of us who leave the property and make a left turn often have to wait way too long on weekdays or weekends for a break in northbound traffic.

In my opinion it was a very poor course for the money spent. Not well maintained grass. I started as a gold card member and was snubbed out of money and was told it was 10 dollars plus a mandatory 20 dollar golf cart fee. In general, very sub par golf course and sketchy management.

Wow, this is a nice semi-private country club. They had a band for dancing and a dance floor. The ambience was really nice with a seperate bar, dance floor, and eating area. It wcas decorated, very nicely and high end. I can’t speak of the food, except if an event ends at 1PM and the kitchen closes at 9, there is a problem and revenue is being lost. I had a great time at this location, drinks were great, but I was hungry and had no choices of anything to eat, that sucked! I will be back as I loved the venue, but would really like to eat next time! What’s a girl to do? Eat before you go somewhere new? NO!!!

I absolutely love playing golf here. The course is absolutely gorgeous and offers plenty of challenge for golfers of all levels. I’m a 24 handicap so I’m all over the place but love the challenge that the course presents. The challenging par 3 holes 3,7, and 11 are my favorites as they offer the exciting(a lot of the time frustrating) challenge of playing over the water. If you play at the right time(typically early in the morning or late in the afternoon) there is an abundance of wildlife to be seen. I’ve seen gators, deer, wild turkeys and a wide variety of other birds. The service throughout the club is just as good if not better than the course. The staff is extremely friendly and will gladly help you with anything you need. Great food in the restaurant was the icing on the cake for me and can’t wait to come back and experience it all again.
