I was excited to come to this little tourist trap but was completely disenchanted when I browsed through the shops on the main drag. All the gift shops are full of crap from China and it’s obviously cheap. Then we discovered the little area off the beaten path(look for the boat, turtle and shark) and found this gift shop. Such unique gifts! I love it! Now I’m a fan of Tarpon Springs shopping! I got two really unique books that I don’t think I’d find elsewhere. I love them!

We saw this store while strolling around in the Sponge Exchange, as tourists do. We are not quite sure what to make of the store name. Thinking that it may sell some new-agey, spirituality stuff we walked in, but what we saw wasn’t quite what we expected. There are jewelries, gadgets for serving wine(which I doubt Buddha will approve), some joke gifts, some silicon covers for dishes, some cards, some candies… I don’t know if the store went through some incarnation to fit in as a tourist trap, but it’s a curious store name for what it sells. Anyway, they do have some fun and unusual things, so it’s worth stopping in to check out. At least it’s a little different from all the other gift shops selling sponges, seashells, souvenir t shirts, quasi Greek statues and vases made in China…
