A-1 Affordable Movers

I’ve used these movers in the past and had wonderful experiences with them. I’ve referred them to friends who have also had good experiences. Most recently, I set up a move. On the morning of the move, I received a text message saying they wouldn’t be able to get to me that day but they would get me taken care of the next morning. I wasn’t thrilled about this but didn’t have many options so I had to be okay with this situation. The next day, I received a text message 30 minutes after they were due to arrive and was told they were running late due to someone having car trouble. The missing individual would arrive in 20 minutes and they would be on their way. 3 hours later, I received a text saying «I guess we’re both screwed. My guy didn’t show. I can reschedule you for first thing tomorrow». I told him not to bother. I had already taken 2 vacation days to get this taken care of and had to cancel personal plans due to this failure on their part to deliver. I never heard back from him (the owner). I had to call another company who was eventually able to completed the move for me. I don’t know what happened to them over the years, but this isn’t the company that made me happy in recent years. Maybe they just had an off week. I don’t care to use them in the future.

Best moving experience ever. Mike and his crew quoted me, and stuck to the quote. Friendly and able guys who follow through. Highly recommend!
