I found this place about 15 years ago. I was so impressed with the ambiance of its location, so I vowed to visit again whenever I returned to Taos. The store has moved. It’s much larger, brighter, and well-​stocked, but it no longer has that earthy, spiritual feel I remembered.
To its credit, I found just about every imaginable oil, essence, powder, herb, or liquid imaginable. I arrived when some products were 20% off, but most of the other prices were a little on the high side… a fair trade-​off for the impressive variety I guess.
As a final note, the shop is situated in the middle of a strip mall anchored on one end by a regional supermarket chain, so parking is free and ample.

This is one of the best herb shops I have visited. Many of the products are harvested and prepared on site very knowledgable staff.

I tried Taos herb company for the first time as an online customer. I was really happy with the energetic and clean quality of the herbs. The new mexican sage is my new favorite smudge as it is so much more gentile than ceremonial sage. Love it.
The prices were great and the size of the smudge sticks and sweet grass braids were huge compared to other places I have shopped. I will not shop anywhere else from now on. And i say this all as someone who is very energetically sensitive and needs high quality herbs to keep me clear and grounded.
