We liked many things about the Stewart House, including great hospitality, good breakfast, good selection of books/videos, picturesque views, and it was fairly clean. It should be noted, however, it has a ramshackle appearance and our room was kind of dark. There was also a little bit of highway noise. For the money though, it’s hard to beat. It’s located north of town, convenient for getting to Taos Pueblo, the Gorge Bridge, Earthships, and the Millicent Rogers Museum. We would recommend Orlando’s for dinner.
