We had a wonderful stay here! The rooms are lovely– beautiful details in the décor but not overdone. Clean, close to the plaza, friendly staff. If you’re getting in later in the evening, you should let them know ahead of time! We arrived around 8:30 and the office was closed. But they kindly left the keys out for us.

Clean, quiet, and walking distance to the best part of Taos. Stayed here on our New Mexico road trip; was our best stop. Comfy, air conditioned rooms(WiFi only in common building), a delicious breakfast each morning(beginning at 7:30am) and afternoon tea(3−5pm). The ladies who prep and serve are dynamos in the kitchen(everything was delicious… hot egg dish, fresh muffins… YUMMMM) and make sure each guest is well-cared for! Book early and get a better deal.

They were able to check us in for a very reasonable price($ 115) at the last minute when our other hotel fell through. We were so glad to stay here! Tea time offered in the afternoon with a wide variety of homemade desserts with coffee tea or lemonade. Room was so cozy and the location can’t be beat. Only sad that we have to check out prior to the free breakfast. Only lost a star for no wi-fi in the room, but I would definitely stay here the next time we were in town.

Stayed in this B&B with my mother on a quick weekend trip to Taos. The location is very convenient for walking to galleries and shops as well as the plaza. The historic buildings are beautiful and each of the many rooms are a little different. Upon our arrival, their cookie and tea time was taking place with probably a dozen different kinds of delicious cookies to choose from. The weather was chilly while we were visiting, but the room stayed very cozy and warm. We stayed in the San Tomas room and it was sunny, beautiful and authentic with retablos and santos as decorations, saltillo tile flooring, a beautiful wood-burning fireplace(which we didn’t even need to use) and a nice big king bed with luxurious bedding. In the morning, head into the dining room for breakfast. Their house-made granola is to die for(I’m still trying to figure out how to copy it) and you will also receive yogurt, milk, coffee, orange juice, a choice of muffins, and finally a choice of a hot dish. Everything was wonderful. I’ll have a hard time choosing any other place to stay in Taos from now on.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s not your typical B & B. The whole place is done in a traditional adobe style and contains about 30 individual different rooms, spaced out over a campus-like environment. The main big building has a lobby, lounge and a large dining room. There’s also an outdoor patio right next to the dining room. It was the off season during my stay, so they were only operating about 5 rooms at the time. My room was located right across from the lobby which was super convenient for me. Regarding my room, sure it wasn’t perfect, but it was comfy, clean, and it had an actual working adobe fireplace in the corner. Real hardwood floors and real wooden beams in the ceiling too. Real New Mexican. The complimentary breakfast was great and run by a little old lady named Cecilla. No menu. Just tell her what you want. My God if I could have taken home that large jar of granola I would have. It was the best granola I’ve ever had. When you consider you’re probably receiving about a $ 15 breakfast here, the price of the room doesn’t seem so bad. I read that one reviewer wasn’t happy with his room, but all I can say is that perhaps the rooms farther away from the lobby don’t get best attention like the ones closer to the lobby. If I were to stay here again, I would request again a room close to the lobby. I suspect those closer rooms get more frequent usage and therefore get better attention than the rooms which are used sparingly throughout the year. That’s just my guess.

This place is great. Perfect location, quiet, comfortable bed, quaint rooms and a yummy, large and free breakfast. I really have not one complaint and hope to stay again
