We have been customers of Artwares in Taos for the past twenty years and plan to remain loyal customers for another twenty. Recently, we purchased new wedding rings and Judy (who helped us make our first purchases twenty years ago) was great to work with and very helpful. Our rings were special orders and she handled every detail perfectly (and our rings arrived a week earlier than we expected them to)! Being business owners ourselves, we feel strongly about supporting local businesses whenever possible. It’s especially nice when one of them sells such unique, handcrafted, quality jewelry and offers such great customer service. Artwares has both and deserves your business!

As I entered the store with my service dog (well identified by her working vest and badge) a small dog came running and barking at us. A woman was close behind and told me I would have to leave with my dog. I said I would, but that she should be aware that federal law says my service dog is allowed in all places that are open to the public. As I turned and had my hand on the door to leave she said, «So report me, but get out.» The rudeness in her tone was excessive. Anyone that supports following the law and the rights of the handicapped should avoid doing business with company on principal.
