Westshore Pizza

Food was okay once I received it… I don’t understand there was only two other customers there but it took 20 mins to for them to bring out a cheese pizza when I opened pepperoni then ask me if I was sure I then when me and my family was done eating we never received our wings and then argued to refund my money. Don’t think I will be back

Horrible place water 45 minutes for my 12″ chicken park sub got him and it was barley 9″ called to complain manager laughed said whatever and hung up

Let me start with the fact that coming in here I have low expectations. It still disappointed me. For 1 slice of pizza and garlic knots the staff took 30 minutes. I was the only customer at the time. When I got the food, it was stale and hard and the garlic knots were undercooked but in a pan of burnt garlic butter sauce. I will not be returning.

I ordered online and at 6pm and it gave me a delivery time of 7:09pm. At 720 I called to check on the order and they said it was on the way. And that the online system has no way of telling how busy they are, and it doesn’t give accurate delivery times. If this was mentioned on the site I may not have ordered. The pizza was delivered cold at 740! I will not ever order from this place again!

How bad was it? I used Tijuana Flats’ WiFi to download the Unilocal app and write this. 21 dollars for generic mozzarella sticks, a soft drink and this burnt calzone drenched in grease and salt. Way too many other options at USF to waste your time and money here

Delivery orders really sucks we waited 1hr 45mins for our pizza and wings when is literally a 10 minute drive away. And when we call the pizza place they said the drivers phone died and they will have to re-​deliver it in around 30 more minutes?! I guess we had to wait becase we paid with a debit card through the phone for cold pizza and wings… Never again to this location… And the «manager» named Angel So unprofessional on the phone sounded like he was high and didn’t seem to care where was our order at… Smh Let me just go turn the oven for my cold pizza and wings that ive been waiting for 2 hours and still not getting here yet…

Absolutely terrible! I waited an hour and 30min for my food and decided to call back. They told me the driver showed up and the doors to the facility were locked. Never bothered to RING THE ONLY DOORBELL. Then they said they would have him try to deliver again and I waited another HOUR AND 30 MINUTES! He never showed up and the caller tried to blame it on me for «not giving specific instructions». You don’t have to be a genius to ring a doorbell. Worst service ever and very unprofessional. Don’t waste your time!

I always enjoy writing the review of why I walked out without eating anything. I’ve not been to this newly (re?)opened location until today, but I regularly frequent the WestShore closer to my house, and I’ve never had any issues that I can recall… pizza and prices are decent and wait times have been accurate.
Today I decided to stay within a low-​lunch-​budget, and saw the «Starving Student» deal… two slices and a drink for less than $ 7.00. I went inside to a long counter with an entrance at each side and walked to the right where another man was standing. After a moment he said the order line was on the other side, he was picking up. So I walked to the other side… it looks just like the picture that someone else posted… no customers (there were customers sitting and dining, but everyone seemed to already have been served). So I stood there and waited.
There was an extreme sense of urgency behind the counter, even with no one in line (there must have been heavy call in/​online orders), but there was a full staff of employees (I counted 5, there may have been more in back), and I caught the attention of at least three of them… all of whom glanced away quickly and went back to what they were doing.
So, after standing there for about 5 minutes without being acknowledged, I left. «Hi there, welcome to so-​and-​so, we’ll be with you in a moment!» really goes a long way…

Nice place. But probably one of the most lame cheesesteaks ever. Since it has it in its name, you’d think it would be good. Also, their sweet tea sucks. Did not try their pizza. Would recommend doing that instead.

Stay away!
This has nothing to do with the food, went there during lunch and my total was around $ 15. coincidentally checked credit card statement two days later and Westshore charged my credit card $ 3,000+. Maybe some freak accident I thought except another person that went with me had a $ 1,000 charge on his. I don’t think they were scamming people just gross incompetence.
Food isn’t nearly good enough to deal with something like this, just avoid them altogether.

Two people were working and they completely ignore you as you walk in. One girl is in charge and just sits in her cell phone. The other kid ignores you until she says aomwtjinv. Order the two slice special but all they had was a selection of two pizzas lol. Food quality is good just very bad service with kids who don’t care

Great place to check out if your by USF! The place is pretty much brand new and the atmosphere is clean and contemporary. I ordered the pizza and wing combo and absolutely loved it! It’s only getting 4 stars because it’s not the greatest pizza I’ve ever eaten but it’s really good. The guy at the front is always welcoming and I recommend this place to anyone who wants a quick bite to eat or chill with friends.

What in the H-​E-​double hockey sticks is going on in this place??? This location used to be some other pizza place, then it was Westshore, then it was closed, and now it’s Westshore again. I pray whatever they have going on with poor training, slow service and improper food handling is limited to this location because I do love their pizza but I usually go to the location on N Dale Mabry. This review can’t even be about the food because even though all I wanted was a slice of pizza the wait was insane and I had to get back to work.
I went in right before noon and I saw two staff working but moving at a snails pace. Dining room had about 4 – 5 tables seated with 1 – 2 people each, most of them already eating. After standing behind 2 people for about 15 minutes I decided to run some errands and come back hoping there might have been more people working, or more slices ready or whatever.
So I came back and there’s even more people in the dining room and even more people in line but I was starving and I really wanted pizza so I waited. And waited. And waited. In the approx. 20 minutes I waited this time I saw one staff and no pizza’s ready to be served as slices. Crazy for lunch hour right by the University. I also saw the woman at the counter deliver some re-​heated slices to tables of people who were waiting. She didn’t seem to know who was supposed to get what and I was sure of this when I saw a woman approach the counter with a plate with 2 slices on it saying that it was the wrong order. The girl at the counter proceeded to take that very same plate of pizza to a guy sitting in the dining room and presented it as his pizza.
The man took the pizza, probably because he had waited forever, but only after the waitress asked the woman who originally brought the pizza back to the counter if she had touched it. Now I haven’t worked in a restaurant for very long but this seems like basic common sense and you aren’t supposed to do that. She did this in front of plenty of people who saw the whole interaction and had no issues with it. It was enough to make my imagination go wild about the things that she did to people’s food when they couldn’t see it and I had to leave. THIS is why they got 1 star. Zero stars would have been better.

When we entered the store we requested fresh pizza, because the prepped slices on the table looked very old and unappetizing. The employees rejected our request of making us a new pie and wanted to only sell us the old slices. They were very rude and also mocked our request. I will spread the word about my experience today. Stay Away!

Great experience! Stopped in and 3 with my parents and boyfriend. Every employee we injected with was super nice. The server who took our order accommodated every request my parents had. We asked about thin crust and he said «i can make your pizza with think crust if you’d like» is just one example. The (what I think were complimentary) garlic knots were great and the pizza was delicious! Will def be back!

Delicious food! Great Philly Steak with cheese sauce. Got the cheese fries and asked for the same cheese sauce, best fries ever. Got a side of meatballs and sauce, also very good. I will be a regular!

The employees at this location are super nice with great attitude I’m a vegetarian and they made sure all my food was handled properly without the contamination of animal flash greatly appreciated good job guys

Delicious! We moved to Tampa 8 months ago and now a have a new go to pizza delivery we love. We ordered the BBQ Chicken pizza for us and a Pepperoni for the kids. Both were huge hits! We will definitely order from Westshore Pizza again.

This location was closed for a long time, and recently opened with re-​branding. This franchise seems to keep trying to improve, but does not improve the quality of the food. I will say that the staff is very friendly, and it has nice décor. It also offers beer and wine, which is a new aspect. I would only order the pizza, though. I ordered fries twice, and once it took about 10 minutes, and the other time it also took a while, and they were not cooked enough. On the most recent visit, got a Philly cheese steak, and the bread was mediocre, and the cheese was not melted.

Super fresh. Super friendly. Customer service was an A+. Couldn’t ask for better. We will be back for sure.
