Walmart Neighborhood Market

Nice Walmart that has been opened for about a year. Parking is good, though there are carts all over the place.
It seems that they try to have a light staff. Not only because of the carts but when you walk in, you’ll notice all the checkout lines besides about 3 are self-​checkout. This can be a good and bad thing, some people can zoom right through the checkout lines, while others are having trouble scanning their products. So line speeds are a little unpredictable. Sometimes this Walmart are bad at restocking their products. There was a time I stopped by and there were not bags to place your veggies in. Everyone was looking around trying to find a bag for their groceries. This goes to say the same is for other ingredients sold at this Walmart.
This Walmart is definitely convenient, not a super Walmart, so it doesn’t has as much traffic. Place does look clean overall.

I found this place a few months ago. I beleive it opened this year 2015. It is clean, well stocked and all merchandise is placed on front. Not your typical Walmart. The produce department is very nice it almost reminds me of Publix. Clerks are willing to help and actually appear happy to be there, which is rather out of place for a Walmart of any kind. I’m just afraid that after a few more months it will start to deteriorate like a most of the Walmart’s I’ve Been too. For now it is not a Bad place to shop, though I don’t believe in their working ethics.

Walmart, usually isn’t anywhere close to one of my favorite store. I am intrigued with them matching any competitors price. I must say this is a clean, nicer Walmart then most.
During the grand opening, there appears to be ample parking. That is a pet peeve of mine with Walmart, it takes too long to park & you are basically risking your life getting into the store, that doesn’t appear to be a problem at this location.
Another pet peeve is waiting too long to check out, we’ll this was the case, but in all fairness, they did not have a full staff of cashiers & only 2 of the self check out counters were working.
Right now the store is beautiful, clean, well stocked & 24 hours, which means I can go on off times. Right now, all is well & it is so close to my favorite sushi. .I may have to try it out a few times. 1 initial concern, I have seen groups of people loitering & it has made me look for a police presence, that was not anywhere to be seen.
I am open minded enough to give it a few months and see if they keep up with the cleanliness and full stocking… time will tell, & I will give them that lead time, before I lump it with most of the other Walmart s.
What’s a girl to do? I am all for saving money, if I don’t sacrifice quality, time & sanity.

It was a mere coincidence that I came upon this store. I was on the way to Saigon Deli this morning to pick up some phở to help soothe my sinus infection and was planning on hitting the Walmart close to it to pick up some meds. I loathe Dale Mabry so I take as many back roads as possible and found this brand new store that just opened up last week on Hillsborough!
The store was immaculate and beautiful. The parking lot didn’t smell of urine like most Walmart parking lots do. The staff was in a great mood and very friendly.
Was I in some kind of Walmart bizzaro world?
Nitza, my cashier was so patient with me. In my sick haze, I accidentally slid my card in the wrong slot and I think I broke the machine. Nevertheless, she was very friendly and efficient as we were forced to go to another register.
This store is brand new and looks great. I only pray the customers to come keep it that way. Shop here now before the general public destroys it.
