Walmart

Wal-mart…is Wal-​Mart. Nothing special, just a place to hopefully run in, get your stuff, find a checkout line that has less than 15 annoyed people standing in it, and run out.
For those of us that are in the 50+ age range, you’ll remember Wal-​Mart was ‘the place!’ to go for your household goods, sporting goods, tools, toys and even clothes for the kids. Their prices were much better by far than any other competitor, the stores were sparkling clean, super-​organized, and the customer service was commendable. Those days are long gone.
This location is not too bad. They fill the need, but I don’t think many people look forward to the overall shopping experience.

The prices are good but not like Walmart used to be. Walmart has the worst coupon policies out of any grocery store. But they have some good regular prices. For the groceries section, I can go to Publix, with coupons and when combined with their BOGOs I can get stuff cheaper than at Walmart so don’t trust those commercials where they do the price comparison… they are only comparing normal prices, not including sales or coupons. I give the store a B on cleanliness. This particular store? I don’t like it very much. Their grocery section isn’t very big, just a few aisles. And for some reason, this store isn’t as busy as any other location in Tampa.

This location isn’t the best I’ve seen but it gets the job done. Staff aren’t very helpful at all but what Walmart staff is? Thing that annoys me the most is that you can’t move around without running into piles of products that should be stocked on shelves not on the floors. If this location wasn’t so close to my house I’d never go there.
This location is not a super Walmart that most of us are use to so it’s very small compared to other locations. Plus side the store is normally pretty clean I give them that. The parking lot is always packed and kind of a pain to get in and out of sometimes. Overall this Walmart is just ok at best

I noticed some other reviewers commenting on the size of this Walmart and the small produce section, this is because this Walmart is NOT a super-​center. It still has electronics, pharmacy, clothing, hygiene, etc… it is just a little smaller than the Walmart Super-​centers and lacks a full grocery section that most people are accustomed to Walmart having these days. This store is a little older and isn’t cared for the way it should be in my opinion. I used to go to this location a lot since it’s the closest one to my house, but recently my husband and I have made the choice to shop across the street at Target instead because of the fact that we have seen 3 different people get arrested at this location on 3 different shopping trips, also, I recommend doing the self check out as many of the cashiers have major attitude problems and are incredibly rude.

I placed an online order for a specialty item that I couldn’t find in stores. By my own mistake, I sent it to this Walmart location instead of the other on Dale Mabry. At the other location, I was directed to the customer service area at the very front of the store to pick up an order. So naturally, I went to the same area once I arrived at the proper store. After waiting in an excessively long line (really, how many people have things to return at Walmart!?), I was told that I needed to go to the back of the store. Well. okay.
Once I reached the correct area, the man who told me where to go showed up and I was able to get my order without any further hassle. Unfortunately, I later realized that the item would not work and needed to be exchanged. I stopped by around 5:30am since it is a 24-​hour location. I was told by a manager that returns/​exchanges were not processed until 7:00am. I needed the item that day, so I went ahead and purchased the new item anyway. It was a slight inconvenience, but she did end up doing the exchange for me.
This Walmart was very clean compared to the others in the area. The employees were on par with your standard staff who hates their job. It could be better, but it could be worse.

This Walmart location seems smaller than others. However, the staff I encountered was helpful today. I was there shopping for essentials and found everything I needed. I was there at 9:45am, so didn’t have a parking problem.

Nice & friendly staff! But The aisles were so packed with boxes that needed to be stocked, that I could hardly get to the items! And so many aisles I couldn’t even get down!
It’s 8:30 PM and you think they would do this at a less busy time of day!

For a Walmart, it’s nice and clean. Nothing spectacular. Small fresh food area, but overall quite nice.

Ghetto — but clean and lets face it — Walmart has EVERYTHING!

One of the better locations, but parking is horrible. Be careful in the lot!
