Fun little festival in the middle of Ybor held in mid Oct. Centennial Park is definitely a perfect location since it’s centralized to 7th St. And Centro Ybor. This festival was actually smaller than the Cuban Sandwich festival because they have less vendors. I missed seeing all the cutsie crafty cultural stuff. There are a decent amount of food vendors and food trucks selling Arroz con pollo, black beans and rice, churros, paella, and three places that sell Pina coladas. Gotta have those. I see that the most fave vendor was at the very end. They served Puerto Rican food including morcilla. Translated it means blood sausage. That sounds gross, but tastes so good. It was nice to see local vendors like Patanegra, a Spanish tapas restaurant in St. Pete. It is always a fun day to be in the midst of happy Latinos who are always dancing, smiling, and eating!
