What can I say, the place has a large full waiting room, you are a number that gets processed through their intake system, children are running everywhere and it is just a blah sterile environment. When you go to a facility such as this you are usually having a test done that you may be concerned about the results, so the added commotion, is just enough to push you over the top. I have been here on several times for different reasons and tests. The staff is definite competent but I have yet to meet a staff member that seemed zealous or even enthusiastic about their profession, it is a job. The staff does their job professionally, they are proficient and once you make it behind the doors, things usually run pretty quickly. Making an appointment and waiting for the insurance authorization(no, it;s not my insurance company dragging their feet} can take a few weeks. An appointment here does NOT mean that you won’t wait an hour or more for your test. A good point is that on the tests they can, they provide you with a DVD to provide your doctor or for your personal health records. Also if some time in the future you need your test results, maybe for a different doctor, you can call and order them and pick them up the next day. Do they get the job done, you can count on it. Are your test results accurate, as much as anywhere else in town. My problem is, when it comes to health issues, I don’t want to be just a number, If I have a health issue I am concerned about, I want to be acknowledged as a caring, feeling human being, not a number, call me crazy, but I don’t think that is too much to ask. What’s a girl to do? We all have to take care of our health.
