I loved how everything just came out great… I had my procedure yesterday and I’m seeing 20⁄20 in a few days or so I should be seeing 20⁄15 which is better then 20÷20… Doctor and staff made me really comfortable. Heads up there is a coupon on Living Social for $ 100 of $ 1,000 off the procedure.

I did my research and this place checked out. I got my LASIK procedure and immediately afterwards, it felt like someone poked me real hard in both eyes– hurt a bit more than expected but very tolerable if your not a stupid little baby about pain. The procedure and office staff was perfect. Unfortunately, I still have to wear glasses because the muscles used to focus are weak in my eyes. What are you waiting for 4 eyes? Just do it already!

Since I have been wearing glasses/contacts since 4th grade, I have grown accustomed to waking up in the middle of the night and stumbling around(I usually have a new bruise somewhere on my legs at least once a month). Stumble no more! I decided last year to elect flexible spending $ for 2014 and signed up to go through LASIKASAP! Last year I went to TLC for a consult and was told I was a candidate for the procedure. I met with Dr Hare(such a sweet dr) and then followed up with my optometrist(dr Chen at Target). On the day of the procedure I arrived at 10 am and was out of there by 11:15. Let me just say how amazing it was to sit up from the procedure table and see the clock hanging on the wall-amazing! My recovery was great. I slept pretty much the entire first day and the following day I was well enough to drive myself up to the local cvs. In fact I’m sitting here less than 72 hours later writing my review. If you’ve been a prisoner to your contacts or glasses for too long, I’d definitely recommend going through with LASIK. Another great benefit of tlc is that there is a lifetime guarantee with their work. Nice!

Staff here are very pleasant and helpful. I only had to wait for about 15min. A staff member from the Rowan Eye Center met me here to help me through my tests and scans. The office is undergoing renovations and so there was a lot going on, but it didn’t get in the way of the service and I can tell it’s going to be very nice when they are finished. Parking is reserved in front for TLC as there is a very busy Starbucks in the same building. Because of this, traffic can be a little crazy. So the location is not very ideal for a customer standpoint, but I’ve been there 3 times now and I didn’t have any trouble with parking.

My husband had his laser eye surgery here(he got PRK). We had a great experience. The way this all went down is we received eye exams at the Eye Shop in downtown Clearwater. Dr. Rowan(who owns this shop and Rowan Eye Center in New Port Richey). My husband has wanted to get Lasik for the last 5 years and talked to Dr. Rowan about it. Dr. Rowan was very thorough and informative every step of the way. He explained everything to us and did extensive tests to make sure it was correct for my husband so he would get the results he wanted. When it came to the day to get the surgery, my husband was dead set on Lasik. The only thing is, his cornea was JUST thick enough for it leaving no room for touch ups. Dr. Rowan wanted to make sure they were doing the right surgery for this case(it was a toss-up between PRK and Lasik). So he talked to Dr. Louis Probst. When all was said and done, my husband opted for PRK(also less expensive but more painful and longer recovery time). The doctors and staff were upfront about everything and very friendly. The surgery went fine and Dr. Rowan stayed in constant communication with my husband afterwards, seeing him frequently on the progress of his eyesight and so far so good! So here are the cons, they are renovating so there was all sorts of constructions like stuff going on(stripped walls, plastics sheets, men on ladders etc.). It wasn’t too intrusive though and I wouldn’t count it against them as they are improving. The only other con is their location. They are right next to what seems to be Tampa’s busiest Starbucks which wouldn’t be so bad, but to get in and out of the parking lot can be a challenge due to one ways and a drive-thru. You just have to pay attention is all.
