Overall the froyo and topping choices are great. Would have sat down and ate there but looked like we were bothering the guy working there. Only reason not giving five stars.

You, Sir, are no Yogurtology. First time here, and while it was okay, I probably won’t be back. They had just a few selections of frozen yogurt(ten or so), and I was not impressed with the actual cake flavor. Only one size carton to put your yogurt in, so go easy on your pour. The worst part was the candy/fixings bar — it was so dirty. There was overflow of everything into everything else. I’ve gotten spoiled by the places that wipe things up non-stop, so I was very taken aback looking at the mess. Sauces near the counter were almost empty, and very sticky on the outside. When I asked for water, all they had available was tap water. Fortunately, the tables were clean and comfortable, and I loved that they had all these sayings on the wall to try and convince me that eating yogurt with candy was good for me! I knew it! ;-)

I’ve been to several frozen yogurt spots. This one was one was a below average experience. I got the Dolce De Leche which was delicious on its own. The toppings had a lot of variety but when I opened the containers a lot were either empty or about to be. The guy behind the counter could clearly see the low stock but it seemed like he couldn’t do anything. I’m not sure if it was because we got there at 8pm but there were still customers streaming in. These places are known for their toppings so I was surprised to even have that problem. The ambience was very modern with plenty of indoor seating. They weigh the container once you fill it up and you pay 49 cents per ounce. So all in all, an ok place.

Get the cake batter! This is by far my favorite yogurt. I am addicted to it. They also always have a ton of options to choose from for toppings. My personal favorite are the salted caramel chocolate squares. Delish! Prices are reasonable.

Great service and hours. Have been here over 10 times and have never been satisfied with the flavors or quality. Worst frozen yogurt. Save yourself the disappointment and drive the extra ten minutes to Yogurtology in Carrolwood

Not the best froyo, but my favorite of the area. I love the tiki taro, throw in some mochi, strawberries, kiwi and coconut. It tastes amazing and leaves you feeling good about life choices. They offer cupcakes which is a plus. The cupcakes are outsourced and not too complicated but very cute and affordable. They were smart to be located next to chipotle. They’re a perfect couple. Get something sweet to top off your meal. You won’t regret.

Just sitting next to chipolte screaming, «COMEGETDESSERTAFTERCHIPOLTE»! Then you have me screaming back, «OKAY!!» Great place to enjoy some froyo. All of the flavors are pretty good, but my all time favorite is cake batter and cookies n’ cream! Mix that together with a crap ton of toppings and you can get the sugar rush of your life. There are so many toppings to choose from! They have lots of fruits, candies, gummies, and syrups! Just recently they started serving cupcakes! WHAT? I had the chocolate with vanilla frosting which was so creamy and moist. Get it. GETTHAT.

If you craving ice cream without that cold hard feeling you get after you’ve finished your first pint, than this is the place for you. Frozen yogurt with lot of flavors and even more variety of topping. I’m always impressed with how clean this place is. You can find people here at all hours of the day and they always manage to keep the place in tip too shape. If your with a group of friends this is perfect. Lot of places to sit for two, or a round table to fit an even bigger group of people. The workers here are nice and give you little sample cups so you can see what your in the mood for. The price here isn’t a rip off but it’s not the cheapest place I’ve ever been to either. But always worth it when it’s all said and done.

Self service frozen yogurt bar with variety of toppings. The frozen yogurt was creamy & smooth. Their flavors change but they also have the staples like chocolate, vanilla & such. The fruits available as toppings were diverse. Although the strawberries were not very fresh, it may have to do with the season.

The Yogurt Spot is by far my favorite froyo place. In my transformation from«I hate frozen yogurt» to «I will push you into traffic if you get between me and my froyo» I have visited many different places and none of them match up to the Yogurt Spot in my opinion. The Yogurt Spot doesn’t have as many toppings as places like Yogurt Mountain and they don’t have a super fancy seating area like Yogurtology(although there is free WiFi), but to me the Yogurt Spot beats them all in where it counts most, the taste of the yogurt. They have a few flavors that are always present(what up cookies ‘n cream!) as well as several seasonal flavors and new ‘surprise’ flavors. I tend to keep my selection simple. I usually like a chocolate bomb with chocolate on top of chocolate toppings with warm chocolate fudge on top(started drooling typing that BTW). Their hours are also crazy ridiculous(in a good way). Have a craving for frozen yogurt at 11:30pm on Tuesday night? Well, the Yogurt Spot is open then to satisfy your cravings. I may or may not have made some late night trips here. I admit to nothing. They also have a loyalty card program where you can earn some free yogurt!

The yogurt spot always makes me happy. They have lots of great flavors and toppings. The folks that work there are always friendly, and the store is a great supporter of USF events.

The yogurt was good, the service was lacking, but the signs on the wall make up for it. Apparently, yogurt is some new found fountain of youth. «Reduces risk of cancer», «Protects against ulcers», «Increases endurance», Helps manage weight”, «Reduces high blood pressure» are all signs they proudly display on their walls. What a load of garbage. It made for a good laugh though, eating sugary frozen dairy products, covered in sugary cereals, candy bar pieces, and marshmellow fluff, all while managing our weight, increasing our endurance and wait for it… reducing our risk of cancer. Wow. Miracles happen at the yogurt spot.

Decent little spot that I would probably frequent often if was an undergrad. I think my guy and I were the only non-sorority girl customers! Definitely a hit with USF students, plus they offer a discount which is always appreciated(I’m a grad student… still get discounts with my ID… score)! The frozen yogurt was decent… price came out to 7 bucks for both of us which is not bad at all. However we both thought the toppings just didn’t taste as expected. Maybe we picked the wrong ones(cookie dough, fudge etc. while most people were getting fruit, go figure). But the cool ambiance makes up for it. I’ll probably be back at some point to try the other flavors and see if I like them better.

Be wary… pay by the pound is deceptive. Oh but it is so tempting… Tons of flavors! Tons of toppings! Right by USF. Offer seating, but its definitely not a desert spot for after a nice date. They offer shakes but their blenders were broken(or someone didn’t want to make me a shake) last time I was there. Get on it guys! Just a tip… strawberries are heavier than blackberries.

The yogurt here is so good! They usually have great flavors and I could eat the«Strawberry fields forever» yogurt every day. They have some pretty good toppings and cute seating. It’s usually pretty busy on weekend nights. The staff seems to hate working here though :/every time I go they’re rude and disinterested in helping customers. But overall, the yogurt is great!

Very good yogurt with good options. The salted caramel flavor is awesome. Their topping selection isn’t as wide as other froyo places in the Tampa area. They still have a decent selection though. If you are in the university area I definitely recommend stopping by Yogurt Spot. Just be warned, the parking lot is awful.
