My parents have been members for many years and I just love it here. I have thrown parties and the food is delicious. The staff here is fantastic and very accommodating.

I had lunch in the main dining room a few months ago while attending an employment law update hosted by a firm located on another floor of the same building. I had no idea –until reading other reviews– that this place was only for the sophisticated and prominent upper echelon of Tampa; lunch was included in the(very reasonable) cost of the event, and I was just happy to be fed half way through the day. I was lucky enough to be in the company of a handful of some very down to earth(and also mostly) non-members, and had an enjoyable(although not spectacular or memorable) chicken dish. The service was great, but what I found most impressive and enjoyable was the panoramic views, which was quite visible –and breathtaking– from our interior table. Three stars for the food, four for the atmosphere and service, and five for the views. Being that I’m not a member and probably won’t ever be one, I doubt I’ll be able to try this place out again to provide an update.

My home away from home. Love everything about TTC, from servers knowing your name, your friends’ names and your kids names to the constantly evolving menu to the very low drink prices. Managers take huge pride in their work, and it shows. Some of the stars include Justin at the bar, dining manager Tony, Becky, Bernardo, Fedner, Junior and, of course, Todd. Best views in Tampa, bar none.

We have the sweetest friends who invite us up to this secret world of the Tampa elite rather often. I think we’ve been up there at least 6 or so times. We’ve done the wine tasting, had breakfast, done dinner, done drinks and the Christmas buffet, and everything has been delicious! They have a great relationship with a few of the staff, thus making us feel even more catered to! The atmosphere reminds me of a gentlemen’s club… no not THAT kind… what I imagine one was like a hundred years ago, leather upholstered seats, heavy drapes, dim lighting, dark wooden furnishings, etc. Did I mention the views?!? Gorgeous views of Tampa Bay!!! We’ll be checking in for the New Year’s Eve party soon! I can’t wait!

Visited first time for a wedding and dinner. Very upscale and elegant. Luxuriously furnisned/decorated view with panoramic view of city, nearly 360 degrees from the 42nd floor. Dramatic wedding at sunset then classy reception and dinner… lobster/filet combo after waves of appetizersl. Not normally jealous of the upper crust 1%ers, but this is the good life. As noted by others, it is a bit of a maze to get to the club on a weekend evening.

I have dined at the Tampa Club numerous times and am proud to say the service is always top-notch and the food excellent. Whether you come for a business lunch, a family brunch or a private event, trust that you will have a wonderful experience. Our most recent experience was Mother’s Day brunch for a party of 25 and all 25 people were happy with their experience. We had 4 generations of family, which made it extra special. You park in the Bank of America parking garage and take the 3rd floor walkway to the Bank of America building. Then, take the middle set of elevators up to the 41st floor. Then, walk up the grand staircase or take a short elevator ride one more flight up to the 42nd floor. The views of Tampa Bay are spectacular. The buffet had a salad station with a variety of salads, cheeses, different lox/salmons, hot omelet station, waffles, eggs benedict, mashed potatoes, veggies, bacon, sausage, salmon, lamb chops(my favorite), blintzes, shrimp, oysters, carving station, chocolate fountain, various desserts, bananas foster, crème Brule and more. We will definitely be back.

I’ve been here many many times over the past number of years as a member of the Tampa Club, and it’s always been a great place to go for really great food and drinks, but it’s the view of Tampa and the sunset that you can NOT get anywhere else. It’s an older and higher income group so it’s normally fairly calm and quiet. The food has always been delicious and the drinks prices are really good. If not a member, you can come as a guest, so it’s limited but not too restricted. There is a dress code and it is only slightly relaxed(collared shirt and jeans(no tears or frays) in the lounge. You can eat in the lounge as well. If you eat in the main dinning area, a jacket is required. The view is unique and not comparable to any other place in Tampa. A champaign sunset toast and impressive view from the top of Tampa are the norm here. Membership is a whole other comment. :) It’s worth it if you can afford it. There is value with it, but you have to decide for yourself. Come try this great location!!!

I was excited to take out of town guests to the Tampa Club as I had heard about what a beautiful place it was. It was a very poor experience. The service was terrible. They had multiple people waiting on our table so no one knew what the status of the meal was. One of my guests ordered a second drink and it took three requests — to different servers — and over ten minutes to get it to him. The table service was slow and disorganized. Our food sat on the tray stand as yet another person arrived to serve it and as it got cold tried to figure out who ordered what from a piece of paper instead of just asking us. For our table of five, two of the three entrees ordered were very poor. The grouper was awful. We waited a long time after we were done eating to be asked if we wanted dessert(no, we just wanted to leave). We were presented with three different checks for the meal that were all wrong. The second one was for nearly $ 500. for a table of five where only 3 people had a cocktail and no dessert was ordered! They were not even paying slight attention to us. It was embarrassing to have told my guests, who are accustomed to Chicago dining, that this was going to be a great evening out! This was my first and last time of going to the Tampa Club.

I love the view and the food. It is perfect for business lunches or a date. The service is attentive. Most employees know my name. The food is pretty on point. It is definitely one of the better places to eat in Tampa. The décor is pretty good. They are currently renovating. For the renovated portion, it is quite nice. The unrenovated parts definately look it.

Visited the Tampa Club on Friday 20-September for a wedding rehearsal cocktail hour(41st floor) followed by dinner(up on 42nd/43rd floor). Live piano music during both phases was of the same caliber as the venue. It’s an amazing place, all class… and the staff was absolutely spot on with every detail. The views are stunning, as it is one of the tallest buildings in the city — breathtaking really. Every facet of the event was just top notch. I think the only thing I found even slightly lacking was some of the food… and that was only a minor quibble. Another issue was trying to find the way IN to the facility in the pouring rain. I joked that it was like trying to solve the Riddle of the Sphinx to find proper parking and make it to the room at the top via the complex elevator system. The reward at the end made it seem very worthwhile though! Truly one of the most memorable such events I have ever been to. If you are thinking of throwing a wedding reception or rehearsal dinner here, look no further — even jaded guests will be blown away by this place.

I attended the club this time for a wedding reception. This was no ordinary everyday reception. It was an all out, no holding back on anything, including an open bar. The club room was imense, the crowd overflowing and it was all handled with poise and elegance. The decorations were perfect and included live coy fish on each sitting table. There was an enormous seafood selection, 3 carving stations, huge dessert station, servers with silver trays full of crab puffs and assorted appetizers. All of the food was spot on delicious, no two ways about it. Everything was fresh, the appropriate temperature and expertly prepared. Like I have said weddings aren’t my personal favorite events, but this was over the top, pure indulgence. What a girl to do? Go to a wedding and have a great time.

I was excited to go here for an event, as I had missed going for restaurant week. The view is awesome. The food was overall okay. I wish that there had been better wine options. Keep in mind that the turn into the parking garage can be very sudden, so keep an eye out for it.

Location, location, location. This restaurant is located on the 43rd floor of the Bank of America building with a panoramic view of Tampa. If you haven’t seen this before — very impressive. The Tampa Club also remodeled recently, so the new lobby is beautiful and very modern. The food is good although I didn’t love the lunch menu choices today. I didn’t have the lunch buffet either, but the choices seemed quite limited. This club is for members and their guests only — so admission is limited. However, if you can get in, the experience is worth it.

One of the best places for a business or for a family lunch it dinner. The grill is more casual, the dinning room is more formal. The remodel looks great!

I enjoyed a very elegant business lunch with one of my clients at The Tampa Club today. The club sits atop the 42nd floor of the Bank of America building in the middle of downtown Tampa, and the view is absolutely spectacular! This incredibly sophisticated members-only business club is definitely the home for the prominent movers & shakers in the local business community. My 5-star experience started as I stepped off the elevator and walked through the carved-wood archway to the reception desk. My business associate had not yet arrived, but the receptionist had my name on her list and so I was invited to wait in the lounge until he showed up. Back in the day this room would have probably be called the gentlemen’s smoking parlor, and I would have felt right at home with a brandy snifter in one hand as I looked at the stylish furnishings and took in the amazing view of downtown. Once my friend arrived we ascended the staircase to the top floor of the club, and were seated in the main dining room. Our table looked down upon the Channelside District, the Tampa Bay Marriott and out over Harbour Island and right out into the Bay. It was truly a jaw-dropping amazing view. The dining room was all white tablecloths and impeccable waiter service. My business associate was greeted by name as if he was an old friend of the maître d’, the waiter, and the chef at the banquet table, and once I was introduced to our server I was also called by name throughout our meal. Very classy and memorable! Lunch today was the Club’s famous Prime Rib Buffet and we both opted to forego the luncheon salads and splurge on something tasty. The buffet started with a salad table which had a variety of lettuces and garden fresh veggies along with homemade dressings. Next in line were the prepared cold salads including fresh fruits and cheeses, followed by a selection of hummuses and bruschettas, hot vegetables and entrées, and finally the chef-attended prime rib carving station with your choice of au jus, as well as freshly-grated and creamy horseradish. There was no way in the world that I had room for dessert, but they had some incredible pastry selections to tempt the weak of heart. The meal and the service were perfection, and it was just a tremendous day to look out the windows and enjoy the fact that we live in Florida. (Honest, I’m having a can of Tomato soup for dinner!)
