I was scared to cut my hair here because I usually go to high end places but my ego was wrong. This place is great. I had nayda, she was very friendly and gave me a great cut! Really love the style and the prices are so cheap. Will be back!

Trying to operate a «supercuts» with low quality service as a high quality salon. Hair cut was botched!

While traveling from Chicago to visit my friends who had recently relocated to Tampa I had a hair emergency and needed to cut off 10″ by myself. That night I checked Unilocal feverishly for someone who could fix my back alley chop job in the morning and saw this location was rated well so figured it couldn’t get any worse. **HEATH** was a doll. He fixed up this ‘do in a snap and it looked fantastic. I had expected some sort of poo face when I mentioned I had gone to Cosmetology school and shown up with what looked like a weed wacker tragedy in his chair, but he was sweet and super friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND him.

Three different people have cut my son’s hair at this location and all have done a great job. It’s nice to walk in and know everyone will give a good boy’s cut. He gets just a basic little boy (he’s 5) cut, but I’ve had those screwed up at other places leaving his hair sticking up all over. If you sign up for e-​mail they send out $ 2 off coupons a lot so the price is always right ($ 13-​$ 15). Everyone is very friendly.

I love this place and will go out of my way to come to this one. Elena is a great stylist, kind and personable and always does a great job with my thick wavy hair!
I’ve had a eyebrow wax from nearly every stylist here and they are all quick and fantastic. I’ve found Stephanie consistently great too.
You can’t beat the prices here, and low prices mean you can tip more. I do miss the buy 9 get the 10^th wax free cards but that’s Supercuts in general, not this location specifically.
If you come on a Saturday, all the South Tampa ladies come here before they hit Publix and the gym, so of course there will be a wait. Schedule an appointment or do what I do and come on a weekday afternoon :)

Ok, I have to admit that I was a little weary of getting my hair cut at all. But, Elena was amazing! She was so so caring and honest with me. She listened really well and took special care of me. I have long hair and was afraid of getting it cut too short. It feels 100% better. She was so sweet to me, funny and very personable. I will definitely be going back! Thank you Elena!

The stylist did a good job even though a language barrier made it a bit difficult to communicate. I was very pleased with my haircut and tipped well.
For a Saturday afternoon the place was packed. I was a walk in and was quoted 25 minutes. It took about 45 minutes and that definitely caused me to downgrade the rating some.
The lady that checked me in was really trying to sell me on spending an extra dollar for some herbal tea shampoo. I wanted to make the hair cut cheap and fast, that is why I came to Supercuts.
I had not cut my hair in about 6 months, it was not an easy job, and respectfully I tipped very well. She probably should have put a little product in my hair after, it was difficult for me to tell if I liked the cut until I got home and styled it.
Had they styled my hair some and been a bit quicker, I would easily give a better rating. But other than the wait, nothing was to the point of complaining. This Super Cuts is conveniently located off Dale Mabry and Henderson and is A-​OK.

This is a solid Supercuts. No it’s not Vidal Sassoon… but it’s priced right & the folks there are super nice and have been there a long time. That is always a great sign.
Dudes, if you need a haircut here in South Tampa… and you don’t want to go to some DAY SPA or MANSCAPE place… then this is the place for you.
