Subway they’re everywhere they’re mediocre at best but they’re cheap there quick and I have a large selection of vegetables I prefer the entire garden

Overall, the food is your typical Subway Sandwich menu, which provides a great selection and a decent vegetarian option or healthy dining choice. This is what I was hoping to find this past rainy Monday night around 7pm.
There are not a lot of (especially vegetarian) dining choices in this neighborhood, but as soon as I walked in the door, the young female working seemed as though she met her quota of sandwich making for the day, asking me «why are you here, and why aren’t you at McDonald’s, Winn Dixie, Sweet Tomatoes, or Hungry Howie’s?» Taken aback, I was hoping she was having a rough day or otherwise making some sort of attempt at humor.
However, she did this (LOUDLY) with every customer coming in after me, rolling her eyes in the process.
Subway management, you won’t be in business long if your employee keeps asking why their customers are still coming in. I nearly walked out while my sandwich was in the process of being made, which would have been an even greater loss.
The one young male employee with red hair is exemplary and the highlight of the review. He defused the situation by asking the female employee to perform prep work in the back (i.e., not customer facing with such an attitude), and handled my order in an efficient and friendly manner. He is definitely a shining example of customer service through stressful conditions, and an asset to the establishment.
