Love, love, love this Café. Truly incredible — some of the best coffee I’ve ever had, presented in a unique and lovely way(check out the pictures to see what I mean). And the price is even better! I didn’t really notice how inexpensive the food was until the bill came, and was shocked at its affordability. From the food menu, I’ve tried the Elena Ruz, the Turkey and the Meatloaf sandwiches, and each was pretty spectacular. The Elena Ruz oozed cream cheese, and its turkey and strawberry jam combination was surprisingly delicious. I may try to replicate it at home — but without the same delicious bread, sadly. This is a wonderful, hidden Tampa gem and in my opinion easily rivals the«hot spots» that tend to get more press. Elizabeth, the owner that so many reviews mention, is as unique as her café. She remembers the tiny details I mention when we chat and brings them up the next time I see her. She is so warm, and truly the cherry on top of this wonderful little eatery.

They are back!!! My favorite café with amazing café con leche and a warm friendly hostess-chef– server to welcome you and attentively see after your needs. I just ate the most delicious roast pork wrap you have never tasted! Haha! Pieces of tender savory pork, brown rice cooked in the pork drippings I suspect, and beans. No really– much better than you are imagining. There are all kinds of Cuban-type sandwiches too, which I get on a croissant, straight out of the panini press. Oh and a meatloaf sandwich that I cannot find words for. I try to go there once a week, but as you may know they were closed for several months after said hostess-chef-server was in a car accident. I had pretty much given up, but then today I drove by and — dream come true — they were open again! I went straight in and feasted as described above. You will have a unique personal satisfying lunch, I promise.

This place is awesome! Super friendly and absolutely delicious food. You cannot go wrong with any of the sandwiches, yogurts or other tasty desserts that they offer. This is definitely a place to stop by when visiting the SoHo area of Tampa!

There’s nothing quite like authenticity coupled with good old fashioned warm hospitality. That is exactly what you’ll find when you visit Soho Delicias Cuban Café. The Café con Leche was flavorful(spot on) and the Cuban sandwich was authentic to the traditional style(the way I like it!). I couldn’t have been more pleased with both the atmosphere(quaint and welcoming) and the service(warm and appreciative).

After a long day of exploring Tampa, we decided to stop by this small cuban café due to the notable reviews. The reviews are on-point and true to tale. Location is charming and near what looks to be an affluent neighborhood. Inside, the café looks like combination of old world mixed with a twist of modern and strong hint of expresso. We ordered the Breakfast sandwich, Breakfast Croissant, Cortadito and Café con leche… Most excellent fares and drinks. The first sip of my Café con leche was marvelous, strong and adequately sweeten… The taste Cortadito is flavorful with a hint of sweetness. So good, you’ll likely get two. Be aware, the coffee here is strong and will likely awaken your dulled senses. Our sandwiches were simple, tasteful, and hearty. The owner was very welcoming and gracious of our presence. Overall this café is a great find and a hidden gem. Will likely recommend for future visits

My favorite place for café con leche or a spin on a Cuban sandwich — Media Noche with sweet bread! Elizabeth is the sweetest, everything is made fresh, even her pastries. Try the guava and cheese, it won’t disappoint!

I really love this place. It’s such a charming addition to the neighborhood. I stumbled upon it on accident, on what I later found out to be it’s first week(if not first day), because I had a mad hankering for frozen yogurt. I’ve lost track of how many different frozen yogurt places have rolled through this location over the past few years, but I’m hoping this one stays for many many moons. While they have a really nice offering that spans beyond the yogurt(I’ll get to that in a bit) — it’s the yogurt itself(as far as the food goes) that keeps me coming back regularly. Tampa has suffered in this area. Years ago, SunniBunni opened a few blocks down on Howard. Then that place on Dale Mabry that used to be next to Extreme Juice(CaliYogurt maybe?). And then came Pink Berry. SunniBunni had the shortest life in Tampa, but it was possibly the best I’ve ever tasted.(Side note– their newer locations in Sarasota, while better than most, not as good as when it was in Tampa. Something’s changed). Next CaliYogurt died, shortly after Pink Berry. Leaving Tampa with all of the generic serve yourself«frozen yogurt» places that might as well be serving soft serve. Yuck. So I stumbled into Soho Delicias one day, with a cold, wanting soup and frozen yogurt. That’s all. That’s what I got. On this day, they had some kind of split pea soup with lots of chunks of potato and carrot. It’s in the top 5 best soups I’ve ever had. I’m a soup fanatic. Love the stuff. Unfortunately she(the owner-who’s absolutely lovely and a huge part of the charm of this deli) hasn’t made it the same way since(or at least, every time I’ve tried to order it), but the other soups and variations of the split pea are all super yummy as well. Every once in a while I try to get a sandwich– but this is one of the few things I recommend thinking twice about. They are a bit… On the dry side for my taste, and that’s also the general consensus from my friends/family. Although, every time I’ve been in it seems that something has changed with the ingredients, so I think they’re actively experimenting with that. As far as the yogurt– I always get the California Tart. Mmmmmmmmmmm. It’s amazing. No toppings needed(especially because they offer mostly candy toppings. California tart demands fresh fruit, mochi, yogurt chips, or nothing. Right? Maybe that’s just me). I tend to get the giant size and hoard it for a couple of weeks for late night yogurt cravings. Also, everything out of the pastry case is pretty stellar. We love the cappuccino cakes(this is an incorrect spelling, forgive me), the rice pudding, and although I haven’t seen them in a while she makes a damn good empanada. Service here is super friendly, although very relaxed. Don’t go in a hurry, they have their own pace. But most importantly– go.

The Cuban breakfast sandwich with chorizo is absolutely delicious! The diner is clean and the owner is very friendly. I was not planning on getting a coffee, but her offering of a café con leche while making one for another customer was hard to resist. It was perfect compliment to the sandwich.

This little place was a great find in a part of town with many great restaurants! The manager was incredibly friendly and the food was unpretentious, delicious and well-priced. We had the café con leche and the Media Noche — their version of a Cuban sandwich. A great spot for a quick breakfast, lunch or coffee.

Loved this place. The woman working(I assume it’s the owner) was so kind and helpful. My boyfriend ordered the soho sandwich which was terrific. All their pastries are homemade. I ordered some frozen yogurt and I was in heaven! I definitely recommend this great place. Great for a quick bite, lunch, or treating yourself to wonderful sweets. :)

LOVE this place! I live in NSB so Soho’s Delicias is a short stroll for a delicious sandwich or for taking the kids to get frozen yogurt and hot chocolate. The owner is fantastic. It’s just she and her 8 year old daughter. The owner is chasing the American dream. She took a chance and opened this café 3 months ago. The food is made with love and everything we’ve had is delicious. If you live in the hood or are looking for a quaint little spot in south Tampa… come give Soho’s Delicias a try and support a great female owned small business.
