Decent course, comparable to conditions of Mangrove except theres a little more elevation change here at Rogers. I give it a 3 star mainly because of the beer-cart lady. We played the front 9 and never saw her once, then on the turn I go in and buy a 6-pack for the back 9. Sure enough she is behind the bar doing something and she tells me there is a cart lady going around out there. OK?! I didn’t see her once and I just want some beer, I don’t care how I get it, just give me some beer. Anyways she gave me some serious attitude because I didn’t buy beer from her out on the course. Maybe if you weren’t behind the bar and actually out on the course doing your job I would have! And to top it off, she passed us on the back 9 and just stared at me, didn’t say hello or anything. She needs a serious attitude adjustment. Other than this one issue, the rest of the staff was fine.

This us a wonderful public golf course tucked away back near Busch Gardens. Built to serve the African American community during segregation the course lives on as a beautiful and vibrant testament to the spirit of Tampa. This pastoral gem includes a small shop and good sized restaurant area, Grille 52, overlooking the course. Come check out this historic and reasonably prices course and enjoy your time in the sun.

Decent shape for a muni, but not your run of the mill golf course. You will walk away from Rogers park with plenty of stories to tell!
