This doctor treated my aunt for cancer of the esophagus. My aunt & uncle repeatedly asked him what stage of cancer she had (for nearly 1 year), but he would never give a straight answer. He would candy coat & change the topic to focus on success stories.
We didn’t find out until she was on her death bed that she was stage 4 which means that she should have never gone through treatment; she should have focused on quality of life. Instead, she was put through agonizing treatments & filled with false hopes & promises for NOTHING during the last year of her life. The cherry on top was that the doctor recommended one more chemo treatment while she was in her deathbed! Thank God my mom was there to stop the madness. I guess he thought he’d try to squeeze out another paycheck out of her. Disgusting!!!
