Payless Furniture

I shopped tirelessly for a living room set throughout the Bay Area. No one, I mean no one had a better deal and selection than Payless Furniture. It was just a nice, pleasant experience;highly recommended!

There are 2 Payless Furniture stores in town. The one located on Nebraska Ave., is where their warehouse is located and the second is located on the North side of Hillsborough Ave., just West of Dale Mabry.
These are family run business. There are 2 brothers Matt & Mark, that have been running the stores for over 20 years now.
The buildings that house the furniture are old & defiantly bare bones, type of establishments. Concrete floors, furniture all over, no swag no presentation… what you see is what you get.
At this location couches, love seats, sectionals, chairs… are downstairs. Up a flight of wooden stairs is bedroon, dining & kitchen tables, along with coffee & end tables.
No you are not going to find any fine leather furniture here. You will find solid, new furniture that you will like and that is functional. This family has been doing this long enough to know where to get nice furniture & pass the savings on, so all get more bang for their buck.
Most of the staff isn’t overly personable, but they are quite knowledgeable and know their inventory. If you need delivey, the price is nowhere as high as higher priced furniture stores.
I have shopped here, for my job, for many years & never been disappointed. What you see is what you get, isn’t that what you are looking for?
What’s a girl to do? When you need a piece of furniture quick, cheap & easy, this I’d where I go.

I love this place and have been buying from them since the 80’s. Family owned business with prices that can’t be beat and great customer service. I will never buy from one of those chain stores, much rather support locally and they will always have me as a customer!
