We paid for a consultation, $ 150, and, $ 750, for a floor plan. The consultation was a joke, they had to remeasure because they lost the measurements. I’m not too sure what the consultation included and why we had to pay for it. The floor plan was done on graph paper and we found out later that most of the furniture & fixtures weren’t to scale. We had many problems with communication, delivery, mismatched furniture, furniture assembly, damaged furniture and billing. We moved into a new home so we had the den, entryway and dining room decorated & furnished by Melanie and Gale. They presented a picture board that was made up of several pieces of paper taped together, were you couldn’t distinguish the furniture’s scale or the materials texture. All of our input went in one ear and out of the other, so we trusted Melanie’s judgement. The installation day when most of the furniture came was a disaster. The crew didn’t have the tools necessary to assemble the furniture so I lent them a screw drivers and wrenches. They left packaging scattered everywhere and didn’t clean up after the install. They made us a commitment to have all furniture by the end of January and we received our last delivery in April, and they charged us for the delivery. We ordered the furniture the Friday after thanksgiving just to give you perspective. Our suggestions fell on deaf ears and we had to have them take back club chairs when we specifically requested over sized leather chairs for our den. First they refused to take them back but we reminded them that they told us at the point of sale that they informed us that there was a 25% restocking fee. We noticed that the two club chairs were mismatched and they still charged us a restocking fee. We waited nearly five months for our dinning room chairs and for them to repair the dinning room table, which was damaged, the bar stools were assembled wrong, the entryway consol top was damaged and for them to pick up accessories which didn’t go with our furniture. They also never delivered custom made pillows and charged us a 20% restocking fee. When they came to drop off the chairs they also had the replacement for the consol and repaired the bar stools, they charged us a delivery fee. It seems that at this family run business they point the finger at the next family member instead of completing the job and making the customer happy. I wish the Flee the best of luck and hope they recognize and improve on their shortcomings. We will never buy another piece of furniture from the Flee.

I used Paris Flea, specifically Melanie Rose, to decorate several rooms in my house. She is amazing! She gave me a high end look, but stayed within my budget. She actually saved me a lot of money on many of my upholstered pieces. I highly recommend the store and her design services.

Looooooooooooooooove this place. If you are looking for some really quality pieces for your home, this is the place to go. Not cheap at all. but one of a kind things. The ladies are super sweet and really willing to work with you on pricing if you are really interested. I am buying a piece and plan on buying more (when I can afford it). Definitely check it out.
