Drove all the way from butt F Egypt to Find that they were out of nearly everything! How is that a way to run a business??? They still had 5.5 before closing time! Unacceptable! Ordered the pan de bono and it was cold! Had to ask her to heat it up. The empanadas were fried to order but had more potatoes than beef.

I had my very first Cuban sandwich in this place! Even though this is not out traditional Cuban is made(no pickles, has lettuce, tomatos, and has mayo) I would recommend this place as the best place to get Cubans! The bread is fresh and hot, and its made daily in house at this bakery. The cuban i get is made with mojo pork, salami, and ham, all well seasoned meat. I also get a generous amount of swiss cheese, crisp lettuce, and juicy tomato. The pan de bono is also a recent discovery that this place introduced me to. They are soft and hot, bread melts in your mouth. Their arepa con queso, in my opinion is also the best. Their arepas are thick and come with stretchy queso blanc. The coffee is good here too, definitely cheaper than Starbucks and just as good. One cuban sandwich and a small coffee would only set you back 5.50, which is a good deal. The restaurant is large and relatively clean. Staff mostly speaks Spanish, but they’ll be able to understand what you want.

The Medellin Bakery has excellent breads and sandwiches, which are baked on the premises. There is a nice variety of breads, and the coffee is good also. The employees are quick and efficient.

Really good place for breakfast if your a fan of Colombian food. The empanadas are always fresh and delicious. I also recommend regular pandebonos, but my favorites are the ones that have guava inside, they are superB.

Landed this morning and had a craving for pan de bono. Thankfully I found this little hole-in-the-wall bakery on Unilocal. They had warm, fresh pan de bono that melted in my mouth. Their buñuelos were delicious too. And the coffee… delicious!!! I spoke to them in Spanish so I’m not sure how they do with English but I’m sure you can get by here. I will definitely be picking up some pan de bono from this place whenever I’m in the area. Highly recommended!!!

Latin bakery that sells fresh breads, pastries, sandwiches, salads, fresh juices and café con leche. The location is a bit hidden. So look for the flashing lights on hillsborough. The baked cheese bread is a delight. Go enjoy a inexpensive coffee and pastry.

5 stars for their pane de bono bread. It reminds me of the Brazilian cheese bread but honestly a little better.

I learned something new today! I already knew that stopping by random, unique bakeries in low-end strip mall locations is an adventure to be repeated again and again. Today, I learned about the awesome pastry called Pan de Bono. Wow! A sweet willowy treat! We had to get cuatro! Plus, we had café con leche for only $ 1.50. It was both perfecto and embarrassingly inexpensive. Starbucks, you are done! As for the spot, it’s quite a large shop, spotlessly clean, and with friendly service. The only complaint was it was a bit warm inside but that was easily ignored so we could focus on our snack.
