Med Express Urgent Care

If I could give this negative stars, I would. This place is awful. They charged me over $ 100 a month after my visit when I have Tricare Prime and paid my co pay. Conveniently, all their offices are closed and the person I talked to had no idea what it was about. I would never go here unless you want to lose a LOT of money.

If you have any other options whatsoever — DON’T GO HERE. Walgreen’s clinic isn’t allowed to give steroid shots, so I had no other choice.
Receptionist — 4 Stars — Efficient.
Doctor — 0 Stars — Didn’t understand me (English?) /couldn’t answer any questions/​agreed with my self-​diagnosis and ran out — saw him for less than 30 seconds.
Nurse — 5 Stars — Best part of the whole experience — did a great job of giving me the two steroid shots I needed.
Prescription — 1 Star — I was given a total of 3 prescriptions. One was for 1 pill to take 4 times a day — but the script was written for a total of just one pill, so my pharmacy wouldn’t fill it. When I called to correct the problem hours later, I was rudely told «oh, the pharmacy already called to correct this». Not — sorry for your hassle, sorry you couldn’t get this filled, etc.
Bill — 0 Stars — Cost was an arm, a leg, and a first born son. They didn’t even bother to send a statement — just sent me an email saying I owed more money than the initially agreed upon amount. When I called the 800 number to request more information, and to see if anything could be knocked off the insanely ridiculous amount, the fabulous Kelsie told me she was helping me — by sending me the statement. Gee, thanks!
Long and short of it — explore your other options first, and only go here if nothing else is available.

I started off my day with a severe pain in my ear, after swimming. The clinic opened promptly, and I was greeted by frirndly, smiling faces. The staff here seemed to truly enjoy their job. The doctor saw me promptly, and was very personable, caring, and helpful. He was also very thorough compared to past experiences with walk in clinics I’ve had. I feel much better now, and I appreciate the convenience of this place. It is a rarity to get this kind of good, smiling service.
