Masters Inn Fairgrounds

This hotel is crime ridden, roach filled and overall terrifying. If you are traveling with any women or children, I beg of you to not stay at the Masters Inn. There were literally prostitutes out on 2^nd story bringing different men inside who were waiting on a picnic table nearby. Terrifying to be around and completely unsafe.
Shame on Expedia to feature this hotel on the website. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BOOK HERE.

How can I even give this hole one star. Lex. D is too generous. My daughter stayed her on January 17^th. Was to be 2 nights and we arrived very late after being at the Brandon Hospital to treat a broken foot (daughters). First room had roaches on the walls and the floors, appliances and walls were filthy. My daughter freaked. We were given the only other ground floor room (remember the broken foot) which was just as run down but at least did not have roaches. The fridge door and exterior door were both blistered with rust. They had simply painted over the blisters.
Told them we would not be staying the second night and when we went to check out in the morning no one was at the front desk for the full 20 minutes I stood there. Left the key and guess what? When I received my credit card bill we were charged for the second night. The woman at the desk when I called to complain said that I had checked out with her the morning after we had left the motel.
They refuse to reimburse the second night, reply to a letter explaining the issue or call my cell that I left on the letter.
This motel should be condemned. I have contacted the BBB and the corporate headquarters. My next step is to contact the Tampa Health Department.

Needed to find a hotel/​motel that accepted dogs quickly around the location I was in at the time. I came across this place and decided to check in because of the cheap rates. Sadly, you get what you pay for. This motel is for if you can not find anything else.
It’s «working girls» everywhere, so much that it’s a sign or something to tell with room is «working.» This motel is full of roaches, one of the rooms they gave me was infested with roaches. The furniture is very old, stink inside, and falls apart with one touch.
The receptionists are rude, forgetful and annoying. One woman receptionist called my room everyday asking when I was paying when I paid for a week already. Another woman receptionist flirted with ny husband everyday since the first day. She hated seeing me around my own husband. The housekeepers are also rude, forgetful and annoying. They take a loooong time just to bring fresh linen and towels.
The structure of the motel is not stable, it’s on the verge of collapsing. The pool never look clean to get in. One very small grill on the premises.
I do not recommended this motel!
