Witnessed the manager of the store being rude to one of their customers. He basically blamed her for the credit card machine not working when it clearly stated that the machine was offline. He was rushing her to order/​threw an attitude when she literally just got there. Walked right out when I saw this. This is not good customer service… at all. It was very disappointing and I decided not to order anything because of this.

Excellent Cuban food; good portions and friendly people. Yes it is cafeteria style-​ish but I am not pretentious and for me it’s all about the food and their’s is very GOOD!

Great restaurant. Mainly Cuban/​Dominican/​Puertorican food. Unilocal catalog this restaurant as «Mexican» but it’s not. The food is well seasoned (balance) not too much not too little. Try the pork!!!

5 stars for cleanliness, low cost, good food, and friendly staff. Don’t let the outside put you off. This is not Mexican with burritos but it is excellent Cuban and Spanish food. My 10 year old likes the fresh Cuban bread.

Love this place for breakfast! Great Café con leche and best Cuban bread around. Haven’t been for lunch but their Juevis Con Queso breakfast sandwich is one of the best in town.

We have to go here every time we go to Tampa. It’s a great Mom & Pop. Cafeteria style dining with outstanding food. I normally have the pork with an incredibly wonderful garlic souce/​gravy with beans, rice, and plantains.

Great little Latin restaurant and sometime cafeteria just north of Hillsborough. Mainly Cuban/​Spanish dishes but also some Brazilian standards. Good for quick service or a nice breakfast at low price, with pressed Cuban toast and an option of beans.
