Great and affordable food for the selection. Honestly I would give this place a higher rating if it wasn’t for the rude staff. My friend and I went on a Tuesday evening where it wasn’t particularly crowded. We got our food fast but afterwards our server just kept luring around us waiting for us to finish. After we finished we sat around to chat for a bit. We didn’t plan on staying long but both the server and one of the managers kept looking over at us and pointing at us. The server eventually came over and told us we needed to leave. If they asked us nicely we would’ve been happy to leave. The restaurant wasn’t busy, no new people were coming in at that time and there were plenty of tables.

I go there every once I a while. The earlier in the afternoon the better. 3pm is almost late. Customer service is ok food not to die for but ok.

Great Quilty for the price and plenty of food to eat! Great service. Only downfall is the steak was very tough. My favorite protein was the shrimp. Had a very fun entertaining dinner out with family.

Don’t waste your time or money. Absolutely no flavor. The steak was so hard to chew. The shrimp was ok. Noodles no flavor. Tried to add pepper and soy sauce but it didn’t help. Tried sushi it was just ok. Kobe is much better. Bonsai is the best for sushi. I have to say the waiter was very good. He deserves at least 4 stars. Will not go back or recommend.

I saw many negative comments here, and lots of people said they have had better sushi. But I want to say that you should consider about the price. For this price, I think this restaurant is the best choice to enjoy sushi, if you still want better one, it must be a higher price. I have been there for several times, foods are tasty and fresh. We all know, you pay how much then you can get how many, if you want to pay less and get a better one, that is impossible. As an Asian and from my taste, this restaurant is a good place to try sushi :)

You’d expect a lot worse from an endless hibachi and sushi restaurant, that’s for sure. While Koizi has it’s downfalls, such as the commonly unreasonable wait and sometimes haphazard service, you end up on top at the end of your meal. Keep in mind, you’re not going to get organic locally sourced ingredients here; but for a restaurant of this style, it could be a whole lot worse Dim, pleasant interior that doesn’t carry the burden of the sad vibe that you would assume an all-you-can-eat to have Hibachi was surprisingly good. It’s a great place to go if you’re looking to add some weight, or you want to hate yourself after a meal that should have ended halfway through.

So I walked through the doors at 3:22pm to a completely PACKED house. I know it was 3:22 because I was quickly informed that their lunch ends in 8 minutes and if I wasn’t seated by 3:30, I’d have to pay the dinner price for the«stuff your pie hole until you have to be rolled out» special. I’m glad I stayed because I made the 3:30 cut. For $ 9.95 I had all the sushi I could eat(you can have hibachi as part of the same deal but who wants hibachi when there’s sushi?). I started out with the Dancing Krab Roll. It was just OK. Then I found the nigiri and didn’t look back. I highly recommend the tuna and salmon nigiri(salmon was a bit better, but both were really good for the price tag. Apparently this place stays busy. I hear the menu is a bit more extensive for dinner(cost is a bit higher too at $ 17.95), but I was good with the lunch selection… and price.

Where to start. The good: we got seated right away, but everything went downhill from there. We got edamame, the vegetable hibachi, and the chicken hibachi. The edamame came out cold. Ok, it still tasted alright, we’ll hope the hibachi is better. We were excited for the cheap pricing($ 10 for veggie, $ 13 for chicken), but the portions very much reflected the cheap price. Maybe it was just our chef, but aside from that, the presentation(one of the main reasons to go to hibachi) also reflected the cheap price. Not only was there no zucchini-catching or saki-gulping, but our chef had no charisma whatsoever. He seemed very inexperienced, and when I got my chicken, it had the consistency and texture of steak. I had language barrier difficulty conveying that my chicken was undercooked, but eventually succeeded in getting new, fully cooked chicken from the kitchen. To top everything off, when our check came, it was incorrectly priced(they tried to charge us for 2 bottomless hibachi/sushi meals at $ 18 each instead of our«a la carte» hibachi). Not sure if it’s mental, but my stomach is already feeling a little queezy from the chicken I tried before deciding it was undercooked. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this hibachi restaurant.

How can you go wrong with endless hibachi and Chinese food? The prices are fantastic for the quality and quantity. The staff is generally engaged and friendly. I only wish they could bring the second, third, fourth, fifth, etc servings a little faster so I could gluttonously stuff myself before realizing I am full.

This is one of my favorite places to go for large gatherings. I absolutely LOVE there sushi!!! We are going to sit at the hibachi table, which is always a treat. During 11:30 — 3:30 everything is $ 10 and its endless. I really like that it is NOT buffet style. They serve you and you order through the waiter. At night they have a larger menu and it is still endless for only $ 17.99.

I came here with my friends after a trip to Busch Gardens because I heard Koizi was a very popular restaurant and that it was hard to get a seat there without waiting. Since it happened to be a Monday, it definitely was not as packed and I was seated immediately. When you walk in, you are greeted by a dark ambience, and I wonder how it would look if it was even darker outside. There are two hibachi stations in the corner and in the middle is where the sushi chefs are, diligently making sushi. The bathroom was even darker than the main dining area, but went with the mood. My friends and I decided to choose the endless option because we were hungry. Anything on the menu is endless except for the brown sections. You can choose from a whole page of sushi, and appetizers, hibachi, and a la carte on the other. The unlimited option price was only $ 17.95 not including tax. I ordered about 3 plates of sushi, an appetizer, and a hibachi plate. I found it interesting as all of the sushi was wrapped in rice paper instead of seaweed paper. It definitely gave a more aesthetic appeal with the different colors. I got ordered a Koizi roll, Hokkaido roll, and a Sexy Girl roll. The Koizi roll was good with the tempura shrimp and it was not too heavy. However I felt there was a bit too much rice in proportion to the substance. Hokkaido roll was decent as well but it did not give as much of an impression on me. My favorite was the Sexy Girl roll because it had a good amount of flavor and texture with the roe and everything. The hibachi was average, nothing special, just your typical grilled meat(steak and chicken in my case) with a side of rice, noodles, and veggies. I also ordered a plate of QQ balls that were nice and sweet, with a nice chewy texture. We were so full by the time we finished our plates and decided not to go for dessert. For the amount we ordered, I think it was well worth it for all of the sushi. Food is not the greatest but it was not terrible. As for the service, staff was friendly but our server had a trainee with her so it was a little slower than expected. She knew what we wanted and asked us for refills right away. The trainee was still learning but he I think he has a ways to go. Overall, this is a good place to go with your date or group of friends. I would come here again when I’m in town.

A little above the cheap hibachies… it is a little pricey for the mediocre taste of food… the sushi is fresh but below average in flavor… the hibachi is normal… for the 17.95… The service was very disorganized, they made mistakes in the order and they were slow… There are better places to spend your time and money… The total bill was 45 dollars not much… but still too much for the taste and bad service… not the fault of the waiter…

Went for the buffet with my friends. For what you get, the buffet price is certainly worth it. Our server was polite and handled all of our issues with ease, even joking with us when one of our members started trying to order from the kids menu, calling him the«Worst customer ever!» purely in jest, which we all thought was hilarious. I had plenty of sushi, which was good, but not spectacular. I like spicier sushi than they were putting out. I also tried some of the hibachi dishes that others were ordering, and the beef was fabulous… particularly the juices that were helping flavor the broccoli. Best broccoli I have had in over a decade! I would certainly go back here!

A lot of locals come here for the $ 10AYCE lunch which is on the weekdays. I really like it because you can try different kinds of sushi and hibachi. The meal also comes with one cup of ice cream. However, you do get what you pay for. I went with some friends who ordered the steak hibachi but their steak was pretty meh. Due to the cheap price they don’t seem to care about the taste of the meat and throw it on the plate. Also due to the popularity and lunch special, the waitresses are slammed and the restaurant now has busboys to help bring out food faster. However, it is hard to try and order more food since you’re trying to find your waitress. You don’t get a lot of food for the appetizers like Gyoza in one sitting since it is a buffet.

Do not get deceived by the deal of $ 10 for AYCE sushi… because I’m not entirely sure what we ate was sushi. First off the wait is killer. If you want to eat soon, do not even dare walk into this place. The wait can be over an hour… and the food isn’t even worth it. The sushi is below sub-par. It tasted like… I’m not even sure. The raw fish was definitely questionable. I would only order cooked food because I’m almost positive every other person walks out of there with food poisoning. Also the lighting is terrible. I felt like I was eating in a cave. You can barely see the inedible fish on your plate in front of you. tl;dr — Seriously, you get what you pay for… and for Koizi, it’s pretty crappy not going to lie.

I know I eat here often because the price is so right… but the food is good… not great. It’s great for the amount of money you pay. Sushi is mediocre… for obvious reasons… but this place is seriously packed almost every time I’ve gone… especially on holidays!(Btw, they’re open on holidays… another reason why I come here). Service is good and hibachi is yummy. The hibachi chefs that are hired now are better than the previous. My kids are certainly entertained. They serve a variety of alcoholic beverages and have Quality Green Tea ice cream for dessert. A must at the end for me :)

Open and busy on Christmas Eve… the all you can eat price for dinner is $ 17.95, so we opted for a la carte tonight which ended up being more cost effective for four adults and one child(three of whom did not eat much). The a la carte prices are great, but the service tonight wasn’t the greatest. Our main server was extremely polite and friendly, but our table was full of empty plates and they went unnoticed on three occasions when food was delivered to our table, until finally someone in our party removed them. The sushi still looks decent(I did not have any tonight). The vegetable tempura was very good, but I would not recommend the crab Rangoon if that’s what you are expecting… They are basically tiny fried wrappers of cream cheese… no crab/crab flavor whatsoever. I would also not recommend the meatballs. They do happen to have the cheapest a la carte prices I have ever seen for kid favorites like French fries, mozzarella sticks, noodles, chicken nuggets, etc… and there were no complaints there.

I’ll just be over there regretting my life choices and gluttony, k? Because it was YUMMY. I had way too much food, and left way too full after declaring defeat. I was so full and so unable to handle another bite I was willing to eat the surcharges on the last few pieces(though they didn’t charge me) – I simply couldn’t eat another bite. At least after a late lunch here I didn’t need dinner? I feel like they have much more creative options and more choices than parallel all-you-can-eat Saki. I left very impressed, both with the sushi rolls(esp. spicy ones) and the Shanghai noodles. I would definitely be willing to go back regularly – though I’d want to take a group next time, so I can try more things without leaving too full of food and regrets for my stomach. Not my taste buds, they have zero regrets from eating at Koizi!

I have been to this restaurant many times. Some time I bring my boss here since he like sushi. We have our office celebration here over the hibachi table. Some time we got good hibachi chef have a lot trick some time it just ordinary hibachi chef. Some time you catch the food that the chef threw at you. When I come here, I like to have the dancing crab roll, Koizi roll, spicy tuna roll. There is roll call sexy girl roll. This is spicy sexy roll with spicy tuna and tempura shrimp with spice mayo. No sure the name matches the roll. We usually come at lunch because is all you can eat with lesser price compare to dinner price. The reason I give 3 stars due to current quality of the restaurant drop. Food is still good but they are not as good at the first year they open the restaurant. The service is still good. The hibachi chef is base on your luck. Sometime you get a good chef.
