I tried this venue out for the first time a few weeks back. It was busy and seemed to have a good reputation. It was decently cleaned and polish options were very large. HOWEVER, when paying this is when it all turned South. It is typical to give your debit/​credit card to your nail tech at the end of your service while your nails are drying so that they can process your payment. I had given them a card that I never used. One day after being at K Nails my credit card number was stolen and someone had purchased several different things on it out of the country and in the US. Thankfully my bank flagged my account and called me or I wouldn’t have known. K nails was the only place I used this card so someone there had to of stolen the numbers off of my card. When I talked to my bank and disputed these charges I reported this nail salon and low and behold, this has happened there to other individuals before. Do not give them your card!!! If you go here pay with cash!

Tai is great with acrylic nails! He does a very good job! I definitely recommend him. The nail salon is clean and staff is nice, very efficient.

Been here a few times for the $ 30 Mani pedicure special they have. I haven’t gotten gel nails here bc other salons charge less than they do. I’ve never had an issue and the polish always lasts a long time.

Best pedicure I’ve had in a long time! I got the deluxe spa pedi (for a very reasonable $ 30) and it was perfect! Great amount of nail care and massage. Also got a gel mani… It was good also. Great polish selection. I will definitely be back!

I get my nails and eyebrows done here every 2 weeks. I love that I have never had to wait (regardless of the time I come in) and the staff is always very friendly. The owner is very nice, and the staff are all very nice and professional but personable. Yes, they do speak Vietnamese to each other (which bothers me not one iota) but they do not have that «fake» friendliness I have encountered at other salons. I get a liquid gel fill with gel nail polish and have never had streaky, bubbly, or dull nails after a visit. I have never been cut (that seemed to be the norm at other places I have been to) and the prices are reasonable.
I first started coming here when my left eyebrow was almost completely waxed off at another salon (never going there again) and I was shown how to fill in and shape my eyebrows to match until it grew back. It was very nice to see them examine the eyebrow and gradually shape both to the same shape as it grew.
Love this salon and will keep returning!

Salon is clean but service and the quality of work is horrible. I’ve been to many nail salon before and just recently moved to Tampa so I decided to try this place. Worst full set ever! My nails are all uneven, there’s drill marks all over the nails, the polish has bubbles, nails aren’t shiny like they should be. I guess you pay for what you get… Never again!

I’ve been to this salon twice now. The first time was an ok experience quite some time ago, really nothing special. The last visit this past weekend wasn’t great either and actually scared me a bit.
I was seated with someone who didn’t speak much English, so communication was difficult, at best. She was nice but…
I asked for a simple pedicure but also wanted to ensure they would address dry dead skin on my heels. For an up charge, they can certainly address it.
Last time I was here, there was no up charge, but ok. Whatever. I noticed another similar nail salon did the same thing — offered up different levels of pedicures and charged for this, which was part of the price times prior.
In any event, while the initial soaking and cuticle cutting began, she told me to let her know if she hurts me. I said, «excuse me?» and she repeated it. I said I had never been hurt before, I hope it doesn’t hurt. I suspect she meant if she cut me, to let her know. I would think if she cut me, I would be walking out. I considered it anyway. But I stuck through it.
The lighting is fairly dim, the tools used came from the regular toolbox, not from an autoclave, the items were not wet so it seemed they were not dipped or soaked in any kind of alcohol/​chemical solution or ultrasonic machine. I really don’t know if this was just used on the previous person or what.
There was no soapy solution in the tub my feet were soaking in and the lotion rub on my legs was less than great, most of the lotion was still quite visible on my legs. She just took a towel to wipe them down. There was oil applied to the bottom of my feet and as I tried to wipe them on the towel under my feet, I didn’t do it well enough, she placed my flip flops on my feet and as I walked out and to my car, my feet were super slippery inside my shoes. Thank goodness I had a towel in my car to wipe the shoes and my feet before I left the parking lot.
When I looked closer at my toes later, the polish job wasn’t great either, but good enough I suppose. It’s too bad I don’t have the same color to hit a couple of missed spots.
I really need to find a good salon and nail tech to go to. This was kind of a let down.

Very friendly staff, and even when they’re busy the wait is never long. No complaints. I will continue to use this salon.

Great nail salon. Much larger than you’d anticipate from the outside. Great décor and clean. The staff were all very nice. My pedicure, gel set, and eye brow wax all came out great. They seemed to be a bit disorganized as to whom was servicing what customer but otherwise it was a great experience and I’d definitely go back.

Staff is courteous. Easy to make an appointment. Nail and pedi service is very good. Convenient location

Always great service, fast and friendly. They are always busy on Saturdays, so I try and be there early to beat the crowd. The salon is always clean and have a great color selection. I’ve been here several times and have always received great service.

We did a walk in today and both got manicures, not gel. They did a fine job, nothing to write home to mom about but average. I have paid more at other places and received more (better massage, heating pads on my hand, a scrub and lotion instead of just a lotion, etc), but for what I paid and as fast as it was I left happy. I will likely come back for manicures periodically. Total time was less than 30 minutes.

Best nail salon in my opinion. They always do an awesome job. I get gels and they have lasted more than 4 weeks. It’s clean and they are all very friendly.

Always do such an amazing job! I came in on a Sunday not looking at their hours at 4:50. I didn’t realize till I was done that they took me 10 minutes before they closed! I felt so bad, but they were so nice the entire time, and didn’t even rush at all. I would never recommend going somewhere so close to when they close, but the fact that they did such an incredible job and were so nice & welcoming really was awesome. I’ve been going here for about 2 years… I’m never disappointed!

This is a decent mani/​pedi place but nothing to write home about. K Nails is super spacious and no appointment seemed to be needed. I felt like the place was super clean and I liked the option to buy your own pedicure kit to be used over and over for repeat customers. I feel like for the price and services there are better places to get more of a VIP treatment in Tampa.

I’ve been here several times for both manis and pedis. The store is spacious and very clean, plus they play good music overhead at just the right level. There are 16 pedi chairs and 12 mani stations; I’ve always come as a walk in and been seated right away. They have a great selection of both regular colors and gel colors.
I usually just get the «regular» services but they of course have upgrades to include callus removal, paraffin, etc. I have been happy with both the regular manis and pedis; the manis haven’t lasted as long as others I’ve gotten but they looked good when I needed them to. I have gotten nicked twice but nothing major and the ladies were always apologetic.
The one time I got gel nails I was fairly disappointed. Their process is different from other gels I have had, involving more steps and more layers. The end result was streaky and the color was different than it looked on the bottle. I had chosen a minty color that turned out more like Apple green; I had the same color on my toes and it was definitely minty so I could compare.
I will come back for regular manis and pedis but I would not get another gel mani.
