When I looked at all these wonderful reviews, I just want to say I guess it wasn’t my day when I had Dr. Rieger perform a bilateral lower blepharoplasty and canthopexy on me. There was success on my right eye, but on my left eye there were two fat pads. I saw Dr. Rieger after the surgery and he assured me it would be okay. I called and asked to see him again as it was looking worse. I sent my photos to my plastic surgeon in Hawaii and he told me they were fat pads and to have a revision in six months. Dr. Rieger told me to come back in November. He would never say they were fat pads, and I believe he was just putting me off. I have received six e-​mails from other plastic surgeons telling me that I need a revision, and obviously the canthopexy was also a failure. The bottom line is that I felt he should have admitted that there needed to be a revision and schedule me I also don’t feel I should have to pay a second time for a failed procedure. Now I have to find a plastic surgeon whom I feel will correct the failed surgery, and someone whom I can trust.. I am very disappointed in Dr. Rieger, and definitely would not allow him to do surgery on me again nor will I recommend him to my friends or anyone I meet that mentions plastic surgery. Right now, all I want is the fat pads removed and I will be happy.
