Pretty awful. Hair in sheets, our non smoking room reeked of cigarettes and had burns in linens and on couch. Tv is old, ‘kitchen’ is tiny and not well stocked.(2 forks, 1 knife, 3 spoons…1 cereal bowl, 3 dinner plates… etc). Planned to stay a week. Checking out as soon as the baby wakes up.

First off this hotel is not in Tampa, its in Brandon a suburb east of Tampa. Brandon’s not too far away but it is still a good 15 – 20 minute drive on an expressway. I thought the room was very nice for a 1 star hotel. Clean enough with a nicely stocked kitchen. The main issues I had here were the sleep quality of the bed(it was too hard), highway noise, and the lack of toiletries. I had trouble sleeping on the bed and when I awoke I had some neck pain due to the pillows. We were here for 2 nights so I wasn’t particularly refreshed when getting up in each of the mornings. The highway noise from I-75 made it tough to fall asleep too. Even with the doors closed, it wasn’t silent but I bring earplugs just in case. It just isn’t comfortable having to sleep with earplugs on. Lastly, the lack of toiletries wasn’t a big deal for us since we had brought shampoo and soap. So we luckily weren’t completely out of luck but the lack thereof wasn’t something we were expecting. The hotel was nicely tucked away in a very commercial area so you could run over to the mall or a big box if you needed something. I totally understand that this is a 1 star hotel and should adjust my expectations accordingly but I couldn’t get a good night’s sleep here even if the room was nice enough. The rooms were $ 32($ 40 after tax) a night. Good deal until you have a bad night’s sleep. Wifi was $ 5 extra a night so I didn’t try it out.

I’m not into fancy hotels, I use hotels as a crash pad & generally find the cheapest one I can. For $ 50 a night, this room was great! I was really surprised with how nice this place is. No, it’s not the ritz, but I definitely don’t have anything bad to say. The hotel & rooms look nice from the outside, very homey. & the inside is like a mini studio apartment. Our $ 50 hotel room had a kitchen! Everything looked new, & also very homey. The front desk staff was very friendly, even in the middle of the night. I came to my room & my key wouldn’t work so I had to go get another key. That key didn’t work either so the lady walked me over & let me in with her master key. Ive never had such good customer service from a $ 50/night hotel
