This bar is great place to grab a beer, hard drink, or even a glass of wine!(i love my wine) and watch your favorite teams take the win! Definitely headed back soon!

This is your typical friendly corner pub, with regulars from the new Tampa area. You can smoke and they have hookahs. It’s perfect if you want to escape for few hours and meet friends.

This place didn’t strike me as a «sports» lounge. I live about a mile away and only visited once(at night), and I wasn’t impressed. I agree with previous comments that the atmosphere is not conducive to the majority of New Tampa residents, although there were a handful of patrons and they looked like they might be regulars. The place is small, dark, smoky from cigarettes/cigars, and the music is extremely loud — mostly 80’s dance, rap, hip hop, etc(stuff I didn’t enjoy all that much in the 80’s either).

I definitely agree Anthony F. here. The ambiance just does not fit the New Tampa crowd in my opinion. During my first and last visit a few months ago, some derelicts tried to run a classic Ponzi scheme on me. Needless to say, I chugged my beer and headed for the door. Not even a guy can go somewhere and enjoy his drink in peace!

It’s a good neighborhood bar. Relatively older crowd. It’s cool that they have boxing matches. It is the only bar in the area that show boxing. On some days they have BBQ which is chill. The bar however is a smokers bar. Everyone smokes. Now I smoke as well but everyone chain smokes and the ventilation is not ideal. The music they play is also not great. When a mayweather fight is on I want to hear the fight not music. The DJ is subpar. Most if my DJ friends are much better. They need work on the transition and selection.

I hope this trio of owners survive but with their current business model I give them at best 9 months. We live about ½ of a mile away and came in for the first time to watch the Florida State vs Miami game. You are a sports bar, right? At 9PM the DJ’s they hired started blasting Latin Music, which in the right venue would be okay, but this isn’t the place. If you want to be a sports bar people need to hear the person next to them. You have a small foot print, about 2,000 square feet at best guess. You need to cater to the demographics of New Tampa. Also your bar maids need to tend bar with more enthusiasm than they have for the domino’s game they get involved with. If they are still open in August 2014 they will have either changed there model or I have lost any sense on how to evaluate a business.

Great fun, events nightly, fun staff and people. Small local bar and cozy! Fun special events every night but Sunday.
