This restaurant uses *cruel glue traps* to get rid of the many rodents in their kitchen. I will not eat there! Not just due to the cleanliness violations but mostly because if they use something as cruel as a glue trap that causes a MAMMAL to suffer for weeks before it dies of painful dehydration/starvation and leaves it’s babies to do the same, then they have no heart and no concern for others– animals OR humans.

Do yourself a favor and try the gyro pizza! The ingredients were so fresh and the meat was very flavorful and tender. Super friendly and fast service. The inside of the restaurant is outdated but charming. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Gyroland is in a strip shopping center on a rough stretch of Nebraska not far north of Columbus. Most orders are take out and the menu is very ambitious in offering an eclectic mix hoping to attract all ethnic preferences and palates: Many cold & hot sandwiches, including Cuban and Philly cheese, lots of pizza options, fried seafood plates, wings and gizzards, fries with everything, gyros and desserts such as sweet potato pie and baklava. Lots of special combos at low cost, but the gyro and wings I tried had some off flavors. The décor/ambiance is a bit depressing, however the place has been in business for quite a while and seems to meet the needs of the neighborhood.
