Fade Masters IV

I’ve been here four or five times and got decent haircuts. But today, as they don’t actually use the clipboard they have on the front counter, they called three different guys up to the chairs that came in after I did. And I get a pretty simple fade, and I tip the guy five bucks every time. But they made me sit there for almost an hour, calling dudes up who had only been there 5 or 10 minutes. This happened to me at this place once before. Finally I got sick of it, called and made an appointment at another place, and was getting my haircut someplace else one hour later. If you’re not going to serve white dudes, you should put a sign on your front door that says «we don’t serve white dudes.» I won’t go back.

I drove my boyfriend here first thing in the morning because he wanted to go to a good barbershop in the pinellas county area instead of driving all the way to Tampa. We arrived first thing in the morning before they opened, which was supposed to be at 10am. When 10:00 came, that’s when the doors should have opened but they didn’t. There were people who arrived early as well because they had an appointment. 10:15 came along and they still weren’t opened. 10:25 hit, and what do you know they still were not opened. After that we just left because we weren’t going to waste another minute of our life waiting for these people to open. Im sorry but if you own a business it is your responsibility to open at the exact time posted. Because of this, they just lost a potential well-​recognized client.

I sat and waited 20 minutes for a barber while two were walking around shooting the breeze. Finally, one of the barbers took me to his chair where I sat for another 10 minutes with out him saying anything to me but he continued talking to the other barbers about «big booty bitches» and organizing his work station while I seriously sat there. My blood was boiling and I got up and walked out. It is clear that these barbers don’t care about customer service or care about customers in any manner. I would rather pay twice their prices somewhere else than have my time wasted and be ignored and left feeling irrelevant when I’m the paying customer! #fadelosers

Used the 33% off check in coupon today which brought a 15 dollar cut down to 10 bucks. Tony was my barber and he was very meticulous. He took his time making sure everything was perfect. I have to say I was pretty impressed. It’s nice to see when a person who is cutting your hair pays such attention to detail. Nice guy, great place with lots of flat screen TV ‘s to keep you entertained while waiting and the prices are fair for the various cuts they offer. I’ll definitely be back!

I have never been to a barber shop. This was such a cool, funky place that I can’t wait to take my son back just so I can watch all the guys in there. Oh, and take my son back for another fabulous fade.
My son is almost 13, drives me crazy. Shows me a bunch of photos of hair cuts, none looking like the other, for an example of what he wants. I’m even more confused.
I still don’t know what he’s looking to do so I put it in the barber’s hands.
Mental note, I will make an appointment the next time. Although walk-​ins are welcome, the barbers have their usual clients waiting so be prepared to wait if you don’t have an appointment.
We waited for about an hour. I loved watching these guys work. So meticulous, so precise in their cuts with the clippers. Often using a straight edge razor or scissors to get every hair right; these buff, well toned, tattooed, young barbers. It’s really an art form.
So Tony the barber did manage to get my kid’s hair right. I love his hair. Kudos to Tony especially because my son has very course and thick hair. He tamed and faded it well.
My son is happy. A smile is a rare occurrence for a nearly 13 year old in full blown puberty. That alone was worth the price of the hair cut, only $ 12!
I highly recommend this experience!
