Evos Feel Great Food

I only came here because we had a coupon, but this place was definitely one I would want to come back to. The prices were a little high, around $ 10 for a full meal, but the quality was worth it. There was plenty of food in the meal and it did not make you feel horrible after like most fast food places. I would definitely recommend it to people wanting to try somewhere new

Stopped by Evo’s a month or so ago… when out checking out some potential new residences. Burger was ok. definitely edible, but lacked the meatiness and flavor I really like in my burgers. Probably healthier than my normal cardiac arrest burgers, though! lol!
Staff was friendly, and the location was neat and clean.
We will probably do it again sometime!

Healthy fast food at Evo’s. I’ve come here several times for take out & it’s either packed or dead! Usually majority of people get to go. The restaurant looks clean and the AC sure works as it’s always freezing in there! The menu has a decent amount of choices & a less fat lower calorie spin on fast food. I got a champion burger the meatless burger tonight. I won’t do that again it’s very bland and I’m pretty sure it was warmed up in a microwave. I do like the shakes here & don’t feel guilty when a small only packs around 150 calories. The air fries are decent but all in all the food is just ok & I find mostly bland to me. Good in a pinch but if I have time to get something else I would.

On my last visit I enjoyed a salmon burger and a smoothie. What a great way to have lunch. The salmon burger was moist and cooked very well. The seasoning on it was just enough to give it a little kick butt not to put it over the top. Overall it was a very enjoyable sandwich and the bread fish was quite good.
I’m not exactly sure what all was in my smoothie but it sure as hell was good! It was thick yet easy to drink and so full of flavor. I for sure know that there was kale and I believe avocado as far as what sweetened it I’m not quite sure but being that I was at Evo’s, I’m sure it was natural. All I can say is it was great and I’ll definitely be back for another one.
What’s a girl to do? Good smoothies are hard to find and great salmon burgers are also difficult to find.

Personally, I adore their incredibly delicious and healthy food. This place offers a large variety of options to suit your taste. Large appetite? You can get a burger with fries and shake, all with significantly less grease and fat. Personally I love the salmon burger as well as the veggie garden grill burger. Not much into steak burgers, but my boyfriend loves them. When getting the salmon burger, get this with avocado; its to die for! The fish patty tastes fresh and the fresh dill spread they have with it coats the fresh veggies quite nicely. I also love their air strips and all their wraps that do not include rice. Their milkshakes are creamy, frothy, and satisfying; not too sweet either. I love the cappucino milkshake, and this is something I don’t get anywhere else. The sweet potato fries are great too; try this with honey mustard sauce. For dessert; I love the chocolate chip cookies. They are organic and delicious. In short, this is a wonderful fast food option to try as they have many items you can’t find anywhere else. Whether you are indulging, or are trying to eat better, this is the perfect choice. A fast food joint that does not make you feel gross after you eat. Bön appetite!

Not great food for the price. I had the thai chicken wrap and it was alright. The person I was with had turkey wrap with zero flavor and something hard it in. The fries are just bad and become cold quick. Healthy food doesn’t have to be bland. My only guess is I am paying for the hip atmosphere and all the printed materials on how eco-​friendly they are; not the food.

This just might be the last place I had never visited in this particular plaza, as I frequent Golfer’s Grail because it is so much better than TopGolf and Golfer’s Grail let’s you bring in or order food from any of the places nearby as you hit balls and drink.
As Brett N. so accurately described in this space just days ago, the décor/​design of this particular Evo’s is impressive for a fast-​food joint. Brett, if you don’t steal that wood table… I will. And there’s a couple nice counters to sit at if you prefer that to any of the tables inside or outside.
Also, I had very good interaction with the counter employees who took and made my salads accurately and quickly. The store manager also took interest in my visit and is clearly a quality human being who appreciates the history of the Dallas Cowboys in addition to being a huge fan of the Clemson Tigers.
The salads at Evo’s always feature very fresh ingredients and the spicy peanut and chili pepper dressing is just delightful. I do wish the additional elements of their salads were more plentiful, as each bite is a little heavy on the lettuce… but that is an easy fix.
As Brett also said, most fast-​food experiences make you feel less than active after consuming their product while Evo’s satisfies your hunger without weighing you down immediately afterwards.
Probably should have finally tried a shake here, but they occasionally run deals where you pay just a penny per calorie and I want to wait on that offer to go for an organic cappuccino or the mango guava. (You Seinfeld fans know what a little mango magic can do for a man.)

Why 5 stars? Because «Feel Great Food» is the perfect slogan.

I absolutely do not eat fast food. I treat it like the plague. It makes me feel awful immediately after consumption, usually for the remainder of the day, so I just gave it up cold turkey. If you see me in a drive-​thru, it’s probably just for a drink. (Chick Fila and PDQ don’t count, right?)
But I definitely think Evos manages to fall as an exception to the norm. I don’t eat it and instantly become filled with regret. And… it tastes good! Like, really good.
I started eating Evos when I first moved to Florida, about 7 – 8 years ago. I probably visited the South Tampa location at least two dozen times. It was my jam! But then I moved around a bunch, and lost touch with my healthy burger-​servin’ joint.
After recently moving to Carrollwood, I’d been tempted to pop into Evos for a while now, and finally got the chance. I’ll admit — I was nervous that my previously unrefined palate had deceived me into thinking Evos was better than reality. The reviews were unspectacular, and maybe it wasn’t a coincidence that my fond memories were all had long before I was Unilocaling on the regular.
Those fears were all for naught. Evos is still amazing, plus, the décor of the Carrollwood location is super cool! I want to steal the large, wooden table. Think they’d notice?
The bacon cheeseburger probably isn’t the healthiest, but I it tastes superb, and definitely contains less calories (by default) than the nearby competition. And the garlic ketchup with the fries? Thumbs up emoji.

This is a fantastic concept. I love the idea behind air fries and organic fast food. The shakes are amazing. The food is okay. It’s unfortunately cannot stay hot because the way it is prepared. I don’t expect piping hot food but warm would be ideal. The burgers and meat is usually super well done, not my favorite way to eat it.
It could be fantastic but they need to work out some minor problems first.

I never went to Evos before my girlfriend took me there. I liked the atmosphere and food so much I decided to apply for a job there. And now I work there, it’s a great place for family and friends.

I love there wraps smoothies and they offer Vegan substitutes for almost everything. So Vegan for the win!

I went to grab dinner here about 15 minutes before closing and the teenagers working there really didn’t want to wait on me. I finally had to say something for them to take my order, I ordered the air baked chicken strips and the air baked sweet potato fries along with an organic cappuccino shake. When my food came out I noticed that the shake looked watery so I took her sip and sure enough it was not like ice cream at all. I said something to the girl behind the counter who then ran the machine and you could clearly see that was all Runny. I said yeah I don’t want it she did offer me a fresh fruit smoothie instead but I declined. So they gave me my money back for that. Once I got home I enjoyed the chicken strips they were very tasty I was happy that they finally had sweet potato fries but they weren’t as crispy as I had hoped. I like the idea that some other items here are not fried so I would go back but it’s not top on my list.

TL;DR — «Feel Great Food» that doesn’t taste that great…
If you’re gonna eat a burger, do yourself a favor and go down the road and get yourself a real one because this healthy version just didn’t cut it for me.
My meal had the makings if a non-​enjoyable eating experience — dry beef patty on my burger and «Air Fries» that were cold and soggy. I was still hungry after quickly chowing down on their relatively small portions.
I’m somewhat conscious of my health so I appreciate what they’re doing with their responsibly raised and antibiotic free meat. They even have organic ketchup for your low fat fries! However, the taste just simply isn’t there for me. The 10 bucks i spent here would’ve definitely been better spent at Five Guys or Burger Monger nearby.

Evos as a chain is excellent; environmentally and health conscious. Their food is filling and healthy, you can really taste the quality in the food. I’ve been to every location in the Tampa Bay area and this one is my favorite. The employees are always friendly and happy, and the food always comes out in a timely manner. The condiment and drink station are always clean and we’ll stocked. I’m very happy that this location is the closest one to my house.

I love what EVOS stands for. Their commitment and effort of using renewable energy, recyclable paper and plastics, and humane treatment of animals make them a flagship for other fast food chains who want to operate with a good conscience.
I’ve eaten here many times and the service and staff have always been accommodating and friendly. I also want to commend EVOS for giving job opportunities for those with special needs.
This would be a 5 star review, but their vegetarian options are limited and a little bland. They could do with some seasoning, like their delicious flavored ketchups!
Bottom line, this is a way better option than other fast food chains and you’re supporting a company that cares.

The food was good, and I liked seeing an organic/​healthy options in my area. It was a bit pricey, but I understand that organic choices are more expensive. The service was good, and I generally had no complaints. Will be back.

I’ve always been a huge Evos fan. I was very upset to learn that the one by USF closed. When I expressed this to the staff at Evos Carollwood, they showed me a great deal of hospitality and even gave me a free cookie for being a dedicated customer.

Great that they have organic greens, but unfortunately not much else in the salads was organic apparently…
Glad to see places like this spring up with good quality, healthy, vegetarian options, but please try to go the whole way on organic food — especially with the dirty dozen (e.g. strawberries!)… we’d eat at places like this more if it was «all» organic :-)

Fast food that is natural and organic usually doesn’t go in the same sentence but Evos delivers just that.
Burgers are free of added hormones and dogs are nitrate free. They cook without artery clogging grease and I enjoyed the air baked fries. They have a variety of ketchup with flavors you won’t find at the usual fast food places. The garlic ketchup intrigued me so while I’m not a biggie on the red stuff, it was pretty good with just a hint of garlic.
They serve burgers, wraps, salads, shakes and smoothies. I love that they have all nutritional info on web site.
Don’t be afraid of the healthy aspect, they have veggie burgers and beef for the carnivores among you, just missing a side of grease!
I enjoyed my wild salmon burger but it was a bit too heavy on the dill sauce.
Glad to have this place as an option for a healthier lunch.

I really wanted to like Evos restaurant because the concept of healthy fast food certainly sounded appealing. Unfortunately the flavor of my food didn’t live up to the hype.
Evos is a chain restaurant which started in Tampa, and has expanded to sites in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. They promote their concept of Feel Great Food by serving naturally-​raised beef, chicken, and wild-​caught salmon, and then airbake their food instead of traditional deep-​fat frying. Evos is a leader in the sustainable and organic foods movement, and I applaud their efforts.
This particular Evos has just opened in the Carrollwood Commons Shopping Center along N. Dale Mabry and Linebaugh Avenue in Carrollwood.
The menu offers beef burgers, salmon burgers, chicken burgers, turkey burgers, and even veggie burgers. They also serve a wide variety of wraps with turkey, salmon, chicken, and steak options. You’ve also got some healthy salad choices, snacks for the kids, and organic milkshakes and fruit shakes.
I’ve been to Evos twice, and the first time I had some airbaked chicken strips with airbaked fries. The fries were good, but I was disappointed at the lack of seasoning on the chicken. I ended up adding a lot of black pepper since I thought the chicken was bland, and I didn’t want to screw up the calorie count by dunking everything into one of their seasonings.
My second trip was a little tastier. I ordered the new Strawberry Walnut Gorgonzola salad and paired that with a strawberry banana fruit shake. The food was a lot tastier, but the costs were high for a fast-​food meal.
Bottom line is that I’ll drop by on occasion for a fruit shake or a salad to go, but I wont become a regular due to the prices.
