This place was a cool experience from the very beginning until the end. The host and all the employees were very helpful and nice all throughout the time. Jail Escape — they have jumpsuits for this! It was awesome! We had an hour and had 46 seconds to spare and was able to escape. The jail one was good because it takes you from one place to the other so it was methodical. It’s frustrating at point of times but with the right team, you’ll be able to get through it. They had other rooms as well as the Gasperilla one which is their hardest room. They have an Alice in wonderland theme that my team and I will definitely be doing next! And another room for just couples to do! It’s a neat way to get your friends to get engaged and mentally challenged to do an escape together. I didn’t think I would enjoy it at first but at the end, I loved it! Definitely will be back.

A really great experience. I have done a ton of these and probably the best one in the Tampa area. You will have an absolute blast!

We came here on what I think was the first night that Escape Countdown was open, and left very disappointed. On first impression, we noticed that the theming was pretty good. They tried to give you a good sense of immersion. Unfortunately, because we were such early visitors, we were exposed to a lot of problems that may have been polished out given more time. First, there was an employee who intermittently would enter the room to check on us and the clock. Often he would say nothing, but this was also the clue delivery method. The first clue he gave us was something we had already discovered on our own. After that he made up a completely cryptic clue that had essentially no meaning. All of this was completely distracting and broke any sort of immersion that we may have felt. Second, without saying too much, there were way too many red herrings in the room. A few are fine but when you resort to guessing what might be relevant, it is not a fun experience. Lastly, some of the puzzles relied on clever ideas that do not work well in practice. While we knew what we were supposed to do for them, actually solving the puzzles was frustrating and felt like we were taking shots in the dark. I understand that we went to a brand new room, but I would expect if just a few testers went through that these problems would have been identified. On one final note, I’m pretty sure that locking someone in with no quick way to let themselves out in an emergency is against some sort of law. Every other escape room I’ve done has some way to leave, but in the jail, the only way to open the jail cell door is to solve the puzzle. Admittedly it is not difficult, but they may want to fix that.

The jail escape was awesome. We had such a great time and would definitely do another escape again. I have to admit, we pulled up to the place and were kinda thinking«what did we get ourselves into?» The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but once you enter, you’ll see it’s really nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. The escape was challenging, fun and something different. Great time!
