I took my 10 year old car to have the paint freshened up, I spoke w/Scott(the manager) He told me I should add integrated clear coat to make the paint last longer in the Florida heat. I declined BUT did add the«loss enhancer» for $ 75.00. They had some«EXTRA prep» of $ 60.00 to repair the peeling clear coat. They sanded the Hood, Roof and trunk smooth,(Got rid of the peeling paint) and put paint on my car for a little over $ 365.00. I noticed the comments on here(I ALWAYS take them w/a grain of salt as usually I ONLY see negatives and very few positives) I went down and saw the work they produce, I went back 3 – 4 times and the cars all seemed to be the same. Was it the best quality NO! I could have paid $ 1,800.00 like my neighbor for his 10+ year old car that is worth about the same as mine, But his being 5 times more expensive I GOT the better deal. In face I sent my son, Our pastor and 5 – 6 others in for similar paint jobs over the past 3 months since I had mine done.(Scott told me he had been there for about 2 months when I 1st went in, so maybe the others were a result of different management that seems to know be fixed. I noticed when I dropped my son’s car off that there was no parking as the lot was full and it took 3 days instead of 24 hours as it took mine, Who knows, DON’T take my review, GO to THESHOP and see the work, get a price and YOUBETHEJUDGE!

One Unilocalper described it VERY well. Mediocre! The old saying, you get what you pay for is very true in this instance. My biggest beef was the dishonesty. I knew it would not be the best paint job for the price(I only had my roof an hood done) and they actually matched the color very well. However, even when I picked the truck up, all they told me was«don’t wash it for 7 days and wax it within the next 30). So I assumed all was good(just looked briefly before driving it off) but I got home and looked and there were bubble on the hood, I took it back to them and they said«you must take it and have it wet sanded and buffed and we don’t do that». They never said I would now have to take it somewhere else after taking it there. When I asked them«why didn’t you tell me that before, during or even when I picked this up?» He said, «We are told never to tell people that it will need to be completed somewhere else. I am a former soldier and just do what I’m told». It is astounding that it was so easy to lie right from the beginning. I would have GLADLY paid and extra 150 – 200 just to have the work completed(with no bubbles) by one shop had I been explained that from the start. I wasn’t expecting a great paint job, just a completed one with no bubbles. not much to ask.

Mediocre. You get exactly what you pay for. It’s cheap and they don’t do prep work as a result. Chips, scratches, flakes and other imperfections will be painted over and will ultimately show through. Don’t come here thinking you’re going to get super quality work, you will be disappointed. I knew what I was getting myself into and for that they get a middle of the road 3 stars. On the positive side, the color matched pretty well.(I did give them the exact paint code). The bottom line is this: if your car is over 20 years old and you want to get some paint on it, fine. But if you have a newer car that hasn’t been repainted at least once, they will not be able to stack up. Take it to a real automotive shop and have it done right.
