D & B Painting of Central Fl

I wish I did more research. They are going by Pro Finishing Painting, LLC now. From reading the above post, I was fed the same lie of family emergencies! By far the worst contractor I’ve ever dealt with. My house is still in the prep phase after hiring them 3 months ago. They have abandoned the project and cannot get them to answer calls or texts. I was told stories of injuries and having to attend funerals, I at first took them as truth but now I know. They still owe me work or a refund and I’m sure I will see neither. When they were working they would show up for a few hours and then leave. The carpentry they helped with is terrible and I could have done a better job as it is a hobby of mine. I shouldn’t be better than «professionals». I also caught them lying to me over little small things, but let it go hoping it would turn out ok in the end. I can’t believe people live their lives this way.

Did my research and I am very satisfied with
the service and outcome. Did not have any problems with the job. My living room and dinning room colors are gorgeous. My
master bedroom was painted beautiful. I highly recommend this company. We trust this company and will use them again.

My husband and I just purchased a brand new home. This is supposed to be a time of happiness… well…
You hear of nightmare contractors… and although the owner Dave was extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with… I would like to wake up from this horrible dream now please.
I feel that the job was rushed and because of this there was a lack of quality. He was supposed to come back to do some touch ups in January, it is now March and still nothing. He stated he was having family emergencies which I understand can change plans but now he won’t even return my texts or emails. There is paint on the floor (my brand new carpets) in multiple rooms, he said he was going to have someone come do the floor… Nope. Color paint on the white closet doors, ceilings, and baseboards. My master bath is horrible! I feel like I could have done a better job myself. There are streaks all over the walls and and the accent walls have spots of white. Brushes and rollers were rinsed out in my tubs and sinks and color paint was left in them… paint was left on my counters, windows, and cabinets… no clean up. All together just BAD! Smh.
I really struggled with submitting this review. I don’t want to seem like I’m just griping. But since the owner won’t even return my calls this is the only thing I can think of. If he is treating me like this than there must be others going through the same thing or future clients that are in for a disappointment. At this point I’m accepting the fact that the job isn’t going to ever be finished by him and I’m moving on to be honest, I don’t want them to finish the job.
When I originally found this contractor I took to Unilocal!to see what I could find and this company wasn’t even on here. So since I have had such a bad experience I decided that if I can save someone the horribleness that I am going through then that’s what this site is for and I’m here just sharing the truth.
