Ordered a soup and ice cream and both were great, but the tables were quite dirty and grimy. It took me a while to find a table without a layer of stickiness on the surface. It gave me pause as whether or not I should try crispers again but at least the food was good and the employees were nice. Free WiFi while you eat.

I walked into Crispers to get a simple hot sandwich, but it was entirely cold. It also looked soggy like someone had spilled a little water on it or something. No biggie. The manager would not get me a refund when I asked though. I was told they could re-do my sandwich. Either this is just poor management cause I’ve visited other Crispers before, and they all had excellent customer service. Would certainly not recommend this one to anyone as I think someone could get sickened by the food here.

Impressed with this place. Food here is fresh and tasty with good variety whether one is watching their weight, indulging a little, or is just trying to eat healthy. So far I’ve had the garden salad with lumps of crab meat in it. I had a cup of the kickin crab chowder, which was delicious and was hot upon its arrival. My boyfriend had the french dip with french onion soup, which he liked. My garden salad had a good variety of vegetables in it with shredded cheese. Definitely will be back to this location.

Excellent variety of soups, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Fresh made and quick service make this a great choice for groups. Free Wifi. Fountain drinks and fresh brewed teas. Kids meals offer great variety of choices to please even picky palates. We like the seasonal menu offerings including soups, salads, and sandwiches.

Carribean crab salad with the turkey cranberry was absolutely awesome. Very tasty and filling. The Mediterranean flatbread salad was also delicious. Mixup in tickets meant one of our people didn’t get their meal with everyone else.

Crisper’s is a good place to get something that’s freshly-made, and it’s quick. It’s also reasonably priced and that’s always a plus. You’ll need to order half portions in order to save several dollars if you come in with the whole family. I came in here for a small snack with my BFF to tide me over before grocery shopping. Just a little somethin’-somethin’ to keep body and soul together. I ordered their Blackened Chicken Club Flatbread. It has chicken, pepper bacon and mozzarella sauce, all on wheat flatbread, with blue cheese dipping sauce on the side. The flatbread came out crisp, but it seemed a little light on the toppings. The chicken was barely blackened, in taste or looks, and was sliced into coin-like pieces. Also, I didn’t taste any mozzarella«sauce». Though I’m sure it was missing the mozzarella sauce, it still was tasty. I didn’t care for the blue cheese dipping sauce. The taste was just not worth the extra calories. The flatbread needed something more, so I remedied that by asking for fresh slices of avocado on the side. They were brought out very quickly and also were very fresh. Avocado fixes everything ;). Next time I would order a half-and-half order, which would be half flatbread along with a cup of soup or salad. You have several options. You also can make this dish a blackened chicken club«salad». Next time, I’ll make it a salad. You can make other combos, too. Customer service was excellent, very efficient and staff were all very nice. Go here for a light snack and a quiet, clean environment. Half portions are nicely priced, most at $ 5.00!

I came here with my companion and we were on our way to do some grocery shopping and to my surprise nothing better could’ve happened… THERE’S CRISPERS! WESHOUTEDATTHESAME EXACTTIME! I have heard nothing but great things about this place. I have been wanting to go for a while. It was perfect timing because who wants to go to the store hungry!!! NOTUS! The orders are placed up front and is taken by the cashier(s). After placing our orders we sat down and it didn’t take long for our orders to come out and both orders were brought out to us at the exact time which is something we both really like and appreciate. The cashier(s) place the orders with the cooks. There is a bell that lets the waitresses know when an order is ready to be picked up and served. I ORDEREDTHECRISPERSALT Avocado, lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheddar cheese on multi-grain bread. The avocado is definitely the star of the show. The color was beautiful and it tasted delicious. It could’ve benefit from a little bit of salt and pepper. The cook put a good amount avocado on my sandwich. The avocados were diced into nice chunks. Next is the bread. The bread had a nice nutty taste to it. The ends of the bread had the typical nuts that multi-grain bread has. The top had a soft texture to it when I bit in. I liked the cheese and how it was placed on top and still had a soft bite to it which added a nice flavor. I loved the soft melt it had. This sandwich had extremely fresh ingredients and tasted delicious. I liked the soft bite rather then having the crispness of bacon which is why I chose this sandwich. THETOMATOSOUP: At first I wasn’t sure if the soup is a can variety or house made but I loved it. It was definitely dip able and my sandwich tasted delicious with it. This soup is the best soup I have had in a long time. It was so smooth and fresh. It needed just a little bit of salt but I took care of that with the table salt. This soup is spicy. It doesn’t catch up till the near end but I loved it. I crumbled my crackers over the top and got creative and crumbled my bag of potato chips over the top and I loved it. I love soup. I think tomato soup has to be my favorite soup of all time. I also loved the basil. It wasn’t too much or too little. It was just right. It was nice and tender and cooked down well and added a nice flavor. The presentation of my lunch was beautiful. It was almost too pretty to eat. I had to stare at it for a minute because I couldn’t figure out what I was gonna go for first. I tried the soup first. I didn’t want it to get cold but I saw the sandwich and started taking bites with it and dipping it in. I had to put the sandwich down and finish the soup. THEOUTRO I carried on a nice conversation with my companion. The drive here was beautiful. There was a lot of scenery and pretty things to look at. We like South Tampa a lot. We noticed a lot of restaurants were closed on a Sunday but this restaurant made up for it and it was an enjoyable time. SEEYOUSOON!

So I visited this crispers location and ordered the turkeycran sandwich and salad. As I bit into the turkey cran sandwich I found tuna fish chunks at the bottom of my Sandwhich which means it must’ve been sitting on an old dirty plate with old tuna on it how disgusting!!! I told the lady I want my money back and no one even apologized. The manager acted as if he was mad and said u sure u just don’t want another??? I said no I just wanted my money back… Since it was half salad and half Sandwhich they tried to reimburst me only half after I had someone else’s old fish stuck to my Sandwhich. I will never go back and advise anyone reading this to never visit this dispicable place…

The food is great but the service is par excellence! I had an issue with a gift card. Alexis got Tom, the manager to help fix the problem. While he was doing that, Maddie was taking care of getting us our food and making sure we were taken care of. Tom got back to me and he recovered the gift card and gave me a replacement. Tom literally stopped everything he was doing to help me out on a complex problem. I’m blown away by how much effort the South Tampa Crispers staff took to assist me. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

I don’t really know why I was excited to try Crispers. I saw someone on Youtube order and rave about it and I became fixated on trying it out. I was really dissapointed with my meal. I went for a late lunch, it was really empty for such a spacious restaurant. There were a lot of tables available. I ordered the ½ sandwich ½ soup combo and picked the Asiago Beef and Butternut Squash soup. I also ordered the Southwest Salad. None of the items tasted very fresh. I was under the impression that this place was know for its fresh ingredients but the lettuce was wilted, the bread was not crispy, the soup was overly sweet and gooey not creamy. The salad was really large, they gave us enough dressing for it but it was mostly lettuce. Taste was just ok. The service was ok, the food was ready pretty quickly and they checked on us regularly. Overall a really mediocre experience that I wouldn’t repeat.

Super. Lunch hour was pretty busy. The Staff was handling it very well. Tom, Mgr. took my order. He reminded me about using my reward card, that was very nice. Here you get rewards pretty quickly. I ordered the Turkeycran. It’s my favorite sandwich they make. Also available in a Salad. It’s yummy:-) white turkey breast, Granny Smith apple slices, Swiss Cheese, whole fruit Cranberry Sauce. I omit the cheese since I can’t do lactose. I order the Gluten Free bread. It’s very good. Potato salad or Chips are the primary side choices. And I love their Ice Tea. May I suggest ½ & ½ unsweetened and sweet. Cuts down on cals and, heavy sweet taste. THEYOFFER ½ PRICEHAPPYHOUR3−5pm EVERYDAY.

we went to this place at around 3pm on a Monday. The place was empty lol the server brought the food after 15minutes or so. However, the food was delicious. I liked their Thai chicken on flat bread. I suggest going here at a busy hour instead.

A friend recommended this place and it reminds me of Panera so I thought it would be great. I guess I had my hopes up too high. I had the turkey cranberry sandwich and crab chowder. The sandwich was very plain and the chowder was extremely salty. Not to mention, it took over 10 minutes for me to get my order when there was barely anybody there. Might give this place another try, but not sure it’s worth the price I paid.

I love this place. I have not had a bad meal yet. The flat bread salads are the best. They used to have a steak flat bread, but I haven’t seen it in a long time. There salads are just the right portions. When I leave I feel satisfied. Also, the food just makes you feel good. It’s healthy so no grease stuff, but it doesn’t have the bland taste of healthy food.

Probably the best of chain sandwich shops. Remember when they spun off from Publix, but reliable for quality sandwiches using Boar’s Head. They go well beyond the Publix deli by having a wide selection of salads and soups, prepared quickly. Really love the idea of the Trio special for $ 7.99…can get any 3 slections from sliders, baked potato, salads, soups or lettuce wraps. Prices are fair for quality and quantitiy and service is fine

Similar to panera, but in my opinion a step above. When I use to have Polk county for work, I would frequent crispers quite often. Their apple strawberry salad with key lime dressing is delish and their never ending options for soup are supreme. Their prices are similar to panera and it’s the same setup-order at the counter and wait for your food to be made. My only gripe is there doesn’t seem to be enough crispers in the area. Publix use to own them… not sure if they still do. They have a different menu for dinner. I believe it features more hot items. If you’re in the area, definitely give them a shot.

I always thought Crispers was«ok» after eating there in Gainesville. Recently stopped by this S Tampa location for a quick bite before grocery shopping at Publix next door. Maybe the menu has upgraded since eating there in 2005? The food here is so fancy and flavorful! I love the crab stack salad. So healthy and delicious. Portions are large. The bf had an Asian salad and chowder ½ and ½. Both great, too. Customer service is great. They asked us if we needed anything a few times. Very friendly here.
