Instantly a «top 5» favorite wings place after stopping in here tonight. The honey BBQ wings were absolutely fantastic. Had a nice bit of spice mixed with sweet. The garlic Parmesan wings were more of a dry coating as opposed to saucy but were full of flavor as well and really hit the spot. The bar is an unassuming place to find delicious wings like these, but absolutely worth checking out. The bar itself is nothing out of the ordinary, but they have a ton of good beers on tap, plenty of pool tables and TV’s. Most importantly they have some real good wings that make this place a must if you’re a local. It’s a college bar so you’ll find a bit of a younger scene here

Some of the restaurants with the lowest ambience in Tampa have the best food. You must try the WINGS here. They are unlike any you’ve ever tasted before. They’re not deep fried and then put into a bowl full of sauce but marinated and slowly baked. They have a nice smoky taste to them.
Having said that, the furniture needs to be updated. The chairs and every uncomfortable and the tables look like they were bought at garage sale. The place has a very dark feeling and not in a good way. However, I’ll deal with it time and time again just to get a taste of those Parmesan wings and fries. Proves that if you make good food, people will be willing to deal with almost anything.

This is USF students hang out location. The bar has pool table and dart games. The pub is lively at weekend compare to weekdays. At weekdays is divey. However, they have killer wings.
If you come to this bar, try their wings. Many of the Tampa Bay Area wings are deep fried and sauce. I really don’t like that way to prepare the wings. I prefer you either add a step like grilled it, marinated over night or breaded with flavor coating. This restaurant take a step further, the wings are marinated, slow smoke then baked per the menu. I think they at lease marinated with dry coating. I like their wings. Please try my favorite Parmesan and lemon pepper. You might want to look at their daily special combination that will save you some money including a game of pool.
The place has some draft beer dispensers on the left of counter that is not visible. So, please look for all local draft before order. The place is three stars base in ambient and furniture. The wing is five stars. I would say this is a 3.5 stars place. I am giving them 4 stars since there is no half star.

This place is definitely a dive bar that caters to the younger college crowd. There is no table service– you place your order for any food or drinks at the bar. They seemed to have a pretty decent beer selection. In addition to what’s on tap, they had a cooler full of craft beer options.
Our party ordered some lemon pepper and garlic Parmesan wings and sweet potato fries. Still being kinda full from our first stop, I only tried one of the lemon pepper wings. These wings would probably be the only reason I ever return. That was some good stuff. The menu says they slow smoke and then bake their wings. These were seasoned w/​what seemed to be a dry rub and were very very good.
There are a few pool tables here, a dart board or two… was there a jukebox? The music selection was all over the place. I didn’t venture from our table to look around… lol. Only saw the one bartender there. If you are looking for great wings, beer, and a dive bar atmosphere– this is your place.

This is a low lit traditional college bar with few accoutrements and base service. There are a couple pool tables, the wings are quite good, I fell for their sweet potato fried which looked a bit burnt on the ends but tasted great. Don’t expect to be doted on. Some nice largeish table to gather with your friends and gossip over a beverage.

Best wings in the area, they are baked and take about 30 minutes but certainly worth the wait, truly mouth watering! The service though is what’s lacking and the bar could use some major TLC

It was a good place to go for limited beer selection and limited food selection. Go for the beer.

The only reason I did not give Copper Top one star, is because of the quality of the wings. This place is definitely a hole-​in-​the-​wall. The inside is dark, dingy, and looks like nothing has been updated ever.
There is a bar area, some tables, and then a section with pool tables and darts. This seems like a place that consists mostly of older regulars, and some college students looking for wings and reasonably priced drinks.
The few times I have been there the service was not great. If the staff knows you, they are attentive. We were served after the bartenders were done talking to other people. They were not exactly unfriendly, but they were not the most hospitable. The one good aspect of the bar is their wings. This is my boyfriend’s favorite spot for wings, especially spicy wings. I would suggest ordering wings to go.

By far my favorite bar in Tampa. I used to spend every Tuesday night there when I lived right around the block. At the time it was $ 8 sink or swim. Great selection of beers on tap and the coolest bartenders around. There’s a touch tunes, tv’s, pool tables, & darts.
Besides the laid back atmosphere, they have the BEST wings I’ve ever had, not barring hooters or wing house. I’m telling you, you must try them. If you’re looking for a fun bar that’s relaxed, casual and affordable, this it! You’ll thank me later.

I came here with a friend and was a bit surprised when I entered the bar. I had seen it several times out of the corner of my eye but had never gone inside. I was impressed by how big it was inside and how it had a nice cozy feel. Although I had imagined something along the lines of a Bud Lite and Miller Lite only bar which had led me to avoid it for years, I was impressed by their broad range of craft beers. It seems like a cool place to hang out for a drink if you’re in the area. I would however keep good track of your spending, as some of their beer prices are quite high.

Highly unimpressed. If you’re not a regular your wont feel very welcome. I wasn’t ignored but I was definitely an afterthought here. Very much a dive bar which I normally love. Tables, pool tables, juke box, pretty scaled down but nice place. The biggest issue was the staff. Like I said not very friendly and very short. They were also annoyed at my usage of the juke box. If you only want to hear specific songs that YOUR employees like. Kill the jukebox and use a mix tape. Otherwise be open to everyone’s taste in music.

Their wings are the best I’ve ever had! It takes a while because they’re baked. This is the only place I go to when I’m craving wings!

Read the Unilocal reviews and decided to Give this place a shot. Wings were terrible. Maybe the worst I’ve ever had. Tasted bad but smelled even worse, like wet dog. Found a hair on one of them. Service was good, people were nice.

The wings were delicious. The drink special was awesome. Service was great. The vibe was chill. What more can I say? Oh, definitely try the buffalo barbeque lemon pepper on your wings. Sounds weird but the bartender recommended it and they were soooo good

The best wings I’ve ever had! And this is coming from someone who lived in Buffalo.
They smoke and bake their wings, and the flavor is unreal. Not only are the wings great, but they have a variety of sauces that you can mix together! My go to was always the Hot Honey BBQ Garlic — or if I was really seeking the heat, extra hot. A side of tots with the wings is also a great idea.
Beer, darts, and sports on all the tv’s. This was my favorite bar in the Tampa area and will definitely miss it now being in Seattle. Still searching for wings that can even come close to C-​Top.

The best chicken wings in town! The staff is friendly and they have a great selection of beers!

Wasn’t feeling it. The pool tables seemed cheap, the décor was cheesy and they don’t have a full liquor bar – beer only. The bartender did ask that we come back after the renovation/​expansion though. He said they would have more beers on tap, and a full liquor bar. Doubtful that we will ever stop in again, but it was good information to know.

This is the staple bar of University of South Florida, a University that I was in for 7 years (not because I was lazy alright)!
It has definitely had a facelift since I started going there. We used to be able to smoke inside, they used to have your necessary 4 taps of Bud, Bud light, Miller, Coors (all the same thing) and your finest (sarcasm) 2 liter bottle of red and white wine.
New copper top there is no smoking inside, tons of craft beers, amazing smoked wings. They often have live music. They run all you can drink nights and all you can eat wings nights. Lots of pool tables, two dart boards, jukebox. Couple tables line the outside, and there is seating inside but it is hard to find on busy nights.
Although it is a USF bar, there is a mixed crowd. This bar has regulars that were around before I was born. Don’t bring your kids.
