Chipotle Mexican Grill

I ordered the steak bowl. I loved the flavor on the steak and I’m pretty picky about steak. It had the charred crust on the outside yet not tough. I like the fact that you can choose exactly what you want. You go thru the line and select what you would like. The brown rice is really good, toppings are fresh and the service is great. The place was clean. Will be coming back to this location

We’re Impressed! We just recently discovered Chipotle, and on each visit, we’ve been impressed. I can’t believe I’m giving a fast casual chain 4 stars — it’s great food!
Impressed with the quality, the quantity, the value and the freshness of the ingredients. Highly recommended!
We’re unimpressed with the temperature. If it’s cold to me, it’s FREEZING to most others! The temperature is obviously set for the people working — and not for the guests.
Solution: Eat outside!

As much as I love chipotle, the customer service at this location is terrible. I called to place an order a few weeks ago and they messed up the order and the way the employees handled was rude and unprofessional. I asked them what they were going to do with the wrong order and the girl just rudely shook her head and threw it away! Recently I placed an online order 45 minutes before my pick up time and I went in to have my coworker’s food be made and mine was not even started. i had to wait an extra 10 minutes which was cutting into my lunch hour! I finally decided to talk to the manager and he apologized and all he asked was «do you want a free meal or something??» I just said no I just wanted to place my concern and I left. Nothing wrong with the food, they just need to work on their customer service. They all look like they hate their job and can care less if a customer is upset. I can go without ever going back there. You lost my business.

I live about 45 mins away from this location but I make the drive because this one has it together.
I’ve been to almost 10 other locations, but this one isn’t afraid to fill up your bowl and the line always moves pretty fast… I get in and get my food in a few minutes. This is the best chipotle ever! !

Just regular fast food spot. Nothing great nothing bad. Only go when I need something quick. Haven’t been since ecoli thing but once I forget it happen I’ll return.

This place has great service; quick lines; and great tasting food. Every time I’m looking for a quick bite, this is my go-​to spot. The parking lot is a little narrow & crowded, but it’s manageable.

Chipotle is chipotle for the most part. However, there were a couple things in particular I wanted to point out about this one.
First off, I’ve been here many times during both the day time and the evening. For some reason, the evening staff always seems irritated and rush every plate which is pretty annoying. I know it gets busy, but customer service and quality plates should still be first priority!
Second, the chicken was pretty badly burnt tonight. It was pretty awful. There is a huge difference between burnt and charred, people! Again, I understand it’s busy and the food needs to be put out but it should still be made well!
Lastly, and this is a positive note, a worker or manager came by while we were eating to ask if our food was okay, which was really nice. They have never done that at any other Chipotle I’ve been to.

Not happy with whoever took my order this afternoon over the phone. Rudest attitude. Put me on hold for 5 minutes. Please I’d advise whoever is managing the chipotle store on n sale mabry carrolwood to take care of this issue

You know chipotle. I don’t have to tell you about the food. This location used to drive me nuts as the service was soooo slow to the point where I would order ahead of time and pick up my food at the counter and sit down to eat in the restaurant. I am happy to say that they have made improvements in the speed department over the last few months and the wait even on a long line is much improved!

This is a definite go to when you can’t figure out what you want. You know Chipotle will fulfill your needs. There are an array of items to choose from: first you pick salad, taco, burrito, or a bowl (everything but the burrito sleeve). Then there is your choice of chicken, beef, pork or even vegetarian. There are side items that everyone from the pickiest of eaters will like. They are quick and always friendly. They are constantly cooking so you know that all the ingredients you put into your meal are fresh.
The décor at this location has fun bells and whistles all over. They feel is very industrial. Luckily we went towards the end of the night so the line wasn’t too long but even if there is a line they tend to push everyone through rather quickly. Thanks!

Yet another location with no guacamole. Seriously I know they want to be organic and all but come on, the non organic avocado is just as good as the organic. Go to the grocery store across the street and make some.

Love chipotle but this location really didn’t set well with me tonight. I live less then a half of mile from the place so I do go there a lot. Now this is the first time I’ve had a problem here. I for sure blame the particular staff that were working at the time. I waited in line over 15 minutes with only six people in front of me. No one had a clue what they were doing even down at the register the girl gave me two dollars back more then she was supposed to.
Now I do work in the restaurant business so I do understand that some employees are better then others but come on. There needs to be at least one person every shift that knows what’s going on. It’s like they put all the rookies on at the same time no supervision. I will be going back only cause it’s a half of mile from my house but if you can find a different location I would recommend doing so.

Been going to Chipotle for a while now bit my first to visit this location. It has a different atmosphere. Different from the one that I always go to. I always order my fave and never had any complains about it.

I used to live down the street from this location and I didn’t experience staff issues like others have mentioned. Perhaps it’s because I wasn’t there for the lunch rush. Perhaps they have changed some of their staff. I don’t know. What I do know is that we always had decent service.
At this location, I never saw lines out the door when we went. But yes, there was always a line of some sort. Luckily, we would catch the line right as it got busy and it always moved fairly quickly. While I do agree that the parking lot is awful, I wouldn’t hold it against them because it’s not their fault.
I’m a fan of the barbacoa burrito with white rice, black beans, tomato & tomatillo salsas, lettuce, cheese and guacamole. I love the cilantro-​lime rice and the juicy barbacoa meat. So good! The tomato salsa here is spicier than at other locations, which I really like. Hands down, I love Chipotle. And no, it isn’t authentic Mexican but it always hits the spot!

I love Chipotle… The food. But I’m not into waiting 45 minutes in line, because of disorganized employees. It literally just took me that long to get one meal, and the line wasn’t that long. It’s like every employee had ADD, and couldn’t complete a task, before moving onto the next one. The employee ringing me up asked me three times what I ordered, because he kept stopping to answer the phone and write down to go orders. I have had a similar issue before, and wrote a complaint, and received a short reply, expressing «they don’t know why their crew was so out of it», but did not offer to replace the wrong meal I received or anything. I gave it another shot, but I’m done now. Get it together Chipotle, and stop thinking you’re too good to go out of business.

Always fresh, always delicious every time I visit. I had the barbacoa bowl and it was excellent.

Preface: I love chipotle, even bad chipotle is better than none.
I love tortillas, I wrap everything in them. If they made them big enough, I would sleep in one.
Imagine my surprise and horror when I show up to a sign letting me know that I can’t get a burrito– or quesadilla. Oh yeah, they don’t have mild salsa either.
You ever go to mcdonalds and have them out of buns? I wouldn’t believe it, yet here I am in a burrito less nightmare– sure I could get a bowl, but I live on carbs, and go eat a pizza no dough and tell me it’s just as good.
Some call it petty, but it’s not like there aren’t a dozen chipotles they couldn’t borrow tortillas from. I’m sure after I get over the shock, we will make up, but right now chipotle and are in a «it’s complicated» relationship.

I love Mexican food and many other ethnic goods. I am amazed that it took me so long to get around to trying this location. Color me disappointed. This location is fairly busy with people in and out.
The parking lot is a nightmare and an accident waiting to happen. The ingredients were fresh, except tonight the meat did not taste very fresh.
I am amazed there is only 2 varieties of white rice and no brown rice option. I am also amazed their are only corn and rice taco shells, it’s almost 2015. There were 5 kids behind the counter playing at work.
I got 2 chicken & 1 steak taco and by appearances they could have come from anywhere. The steak was flavorful and had a slight smoky quality. The chicken was dry and tastelss, absolutely nothing remarkable
What blew my mind was the price of over $ 8.00 for 3 tacos! Definitely not wot that price tag.
Many tables were dirty and during my 30 minute visit, they remained dirty, while too many staff played behind the counter. I had a hard time finding a clean place to sit.
Would not recommend or return based on price, cleanliness, lack of staff professionalism and an average product, nothing memorable, except the price.
What’s a girl to do? I went, I saw, I tried and I will NOT repeat that cycle.

Great food, people not very friendly, music way too loud.
We did ask them to turn the music down and they did.
The salsa is super hot, but that is how I like it.
If the music weren’t loud every time we came I would give it another star. If the people were nicer I would give it another star, too.
I like this place for the quesadillas and salsa. Oh and supposedly they don’t have GMO food, other than the sodas.

It was pouring rain on a Sunday night, and I wasn’t in the mood to go anywhere fancy for dinner. Chipotle is right up the road from me, and the idea of some quick Mexican food sounded like a plan.
Unfortunately the word «quick» does not seem to be in the vocabulary of the staff as they were busy conversing about their weekend conquests and could have cared less about the line of people standing on the other side of the counter. This was not shaping up to be a positive dining experience.
I ordered a steak burrito bowl, brown rice, pinto beans, heavy on the veggies, medium hot salsa, and no sour cream. I didn’t think that was a particularly difficult order, but it took two guys about ten minutes to figure out how to assemble the bowl, and then another 15 minutes for the lady behind the register to get me checked out. By the time they were done clowning around the food was cold and unappetizing.
Most of the Chipotle Mexican Grills are generally pretty good for Mexican fast food, but these clowns were pathetically awful. Next time I’ll pick a different place for a quick dinner.
