I asked to watch the game 2 times they said they would change the current station. I then ordered the steak and chicken fajitas looks nothing like the menu.

The Chili’s to go part was so hard to watch. It’s probably one of the worst order taking process I’ve seen in a while. All three cashiers were all over the place behind the counter taking orders and bagging the order… so chaotic! My order took forever to get. Not sure how to make this more efficient but someone from corporate needs to look at this.

I’m usually a huge fan of Chili’s…but this one was just okay… I’m suspecting it’s because of their location in the Tampa International Airport. I dunno. We had minimal wait time, around 2 minutes, before we were seated in a booth. The restaurant was pretty full, so I was very cognizant of this. Our waitress was really attentive and friendly. We ordered the queso beef dip. It was meh; tasted just like it had been reheated. For my lunch entrée I ordered the chicken tacos, which were also just okay. I believe the highlight was the Tropical Sunrise Margarita. It was really delicious. Overall, not much to be expected from airport food.

It used to be Chili’s always had the best fresh brewed ice tea. We were all greatly disappointed to learn that they decided to cut corners and now serve a tea concentrate. If they cut corners on their ice tea what else do they cut corners on? On the bright side the bacon was crispy as requested and the server was pleasant.

$ 11.55 I got the veggie omelette which had corn, bell peppers, cheese inside and topped with pico. It came with house potatoes. I usually go to Shula’s grill for breakfast but I wanted to try something different… Glad I did. Although at Shula’s you get a huge omelette, potatoes, and toast for under $ 11. I’ll be back here

GOTOTHECHILISTOGOCOUNTER. Sooooooo sloooowww if you sit down. I don’t know if a few people called in sick today, but this is the slowest service I’ve ever experienced… And the restaurant is a quarter full.

STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE. Read through my other reviews. I have never used all caps and I rarely am so one-sided in my perspective. But this place earned every word I’m about to write. I was on my way back home from Tampa and decided to give this place a try. Now I’ve been to other Chili’s locations and I also understand that I’m at an airport eatery, so my expectations were not very high. I ordered the crispy chicken crispers and a salad with vinegar & oil. The vinegar & oil was delivered first. The bottles were dingy, the oil had little specs of something floating in it and they looked like they are rarely used and never cleaned. Fine. This is within«airport food expectations». Then my food comes. I immediately realize that my «crispy» crispers are more like rubbery, limp crispers. Fine. Still within my low expectations. They didn’t taste bad. They were just difficult to chew. As I was about to eat my salad(without the vinegar & oil) I noticed a hair. Now this is where most people would have lost it. But again. LOWEXPECTATIONS. Just remove the hair and carry on. But as I pulled the hair out of my salad, it was attached to a wad of hair and other white debris that clearly did not fall from someone’s head. The only way I can describe it is it looked like something you’d find in a drain. You know. The globby hair nastiness. ITWASINMYSALAD. I sat calmly until the server came over to see how I was doing. I showed her the wad of hair and said I don’t want the salad and I’m not paying for it. And no, I don’t want another one. Shortly after, the manager came over and said«I understand you had a hair in your salad. All of our staff wear hair nets, blah, blah, blah. I explained that this was not a hair that fell from someone’s head and I asked had he seen it(in retrospect, I should have taken a pic. Still kicking myself for not doing that…). He said no … that the server just asked him to stop by. That just infuriated me more. So then I let him have it(politely of course). I talked about the oil & vinegar, the chicken crispers and finally the salad. No I don’t want an order of something else. And no I don’t want fries to go. He apologized and left. I waited and waited until finally a different server came by to see if I needed anything else. I said just the check(yes, I was still willing to pay for my «crispy» chicken crispers), to which she replied … «oh he took that off. He didn’t tell you?». Yes, he told me. That’s why I’m sitting here and just asked for the check. My bad all around. I’ve been to Shula Burger in this terminal several times in the past and it’s great every time. GOTHERE and AVOIDTHISPLACEATALLCOSTS. Instead of turning right after you walk through security, go left. Shula Burger is on your left and it’s awesome.

Bottom Line: This is the best service I have ever had at an airport restaurant in all my many years of traveling. Chilis at the airport. .. I expected two things: Disgruntled service and processed, unhealthy food. Well, yes, my plate of food was not a healthy choice and it was very processed but service here was awesome! Props to you Lisa for being attentive, friendly and high-energy. Also, when I said my iced tea tasted funny, the server just said, «I’m so sorry, can I get you something else instead.» I really appreciated that because I think the ice tea was just too strong for me and then I dumped too much sweet and low. So despite the ice tea being fine, she didn’t care that I wanted a diet Coke instead because my taste buds were being picky that day. Finally, I have to note that the hostess was equally friendly and high energy. Kudos to all the service oriented people at this airport restaurant!

The bar smelled sour/rotten, a pretty clear indicator that something is not being cleaned properly. I would not get a mixed drink or a beer from this place. I’m guessing the beer lines haven’t been cleaned, maybe ever.

This place serves factory food for breakfast. The eggs are not fresh. The toast is as cheap as possible. The sausage is just gross! The potatoes are horrible and deep fried. Overall. Don’t go for breakfast.

Hungary and trapped in Tampa Airport I decided to give Chili’s a try. I didn’t expect much in the line of real quality food and I didn’t get much. There Cajun pasta with shrimp wasn’t bad, ok, though it would never pass for anything in New Orleans or Cajun Country since the essence of its flavors stemmed only from the use of Cajun spices rather than the art for a Cajun style of cooking. And, I’m sure it’s rather well known that Alfredo sauce is just about as totally unknown in Cajun Country as it is in Italy, but overall the dish served as an Americanized passable concoction. I also had a margarita which, though it wasn’t, certainly had the taste of being alcohol free, with the mix straight from the commercial margarita mix with the only embellishment being some salt on the glass rim along with a small wedge of lime. For a drink that came to $ 12.31 I would have expected something a little bit better, but maybe that is the reason they didn’t list their drink prices on their menu. For food in this terminal, I’d say your best bet is Shula’s.

Chili’s is like an old friend. You always have a pretty good idea about what to expect from service to food. Service can be a bit slow at times, but it is always with a smile and pleasant attitude. The menu doesn’t change that often, so you can count on your favorites being their waiting for you. The quality of the food is pretty consistent, unless you hit an unfortunate off day in the kitchen. You can always be assured that it will be loud and bustling with activity. My first time at Chili’s years ago I ordered an Oldtimer burger and fries. To this day I still find comfort in my old friend and classic burger. Hey sometimes it is great to try new thing and sometimes you just want a favorite food staple, just like a good friend. I will continue to enjoy Chili’s and other restaurants that offer some of my favorites as I continue to try new places and expand my palate. What’s a girl to do? So many restaurants, but I also love to cook.

I know better than to arrive at an airport hungry but alas I found myself at Chili’s near terminal C and I was starving. The food here is mediocre, the service is terrible and the prices are outrageous!

The grilled chicken salad for 430 calories is an unbelievable flavor explosion in my mouth. Wow… really?! It was probably the best salad I’ve ever eaten, and I can’t believe it was only 430 calories. I wanted to get something light because for the next week I would be eating free food on a cruise ship… The waitress was sweet, and quick, and we were in an airport. I was impressed. I just looked up why it tasted so good… the dressing has 23 grams of fat. that’s stupid. You only get 4 stars Chili’s.

The food here is always great. If you’re in a hurry — PLEASE go to the TOGO line. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 mins for my food. It’s always right and it’s always overpriced(we are at the airport). This is probably the best bet if you’re at Gates C30 — C36. Ohhh one more thing… please eat what you’re going to eat before you get on the plane. No one wants to smell your food inside the plane — no matter how good you think it is.

You are in Terminal C of the Tampa International Airport. You have made it through Security, you are in the Southwest concourse area, and waiting for your plane to arrive. Suddenly, you realize you are hungry. Rather than risk missing your flight, you had skipped stopping for a meal on the way to the airport. Now your stomach is complaining. You look around and there is Chili’s. It almost looks like a restaurant. Or an outdoor café set on the shores of the Southwest concourse. It’s not a bad place to grab a bite to eat if in an airport. They’ve cut down the menu from what you might expect in a more traditional Chili’s, but the trade-off is speed. The food comes out quickly. The service has been good. I tend to alternate between the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap and the California Club. Both sandwiches are good. But, I would like to convince them to serve the club as a wrap. Sometimes, it seems like the cooks believe toast means dry, like in stale, rather than heated. And there are a fair amount of fries with the meal. My only complaint about the salsa and chips option is that you have to pay for them. But I guess I’ve been spoiled going to Mexican restaurants. It’s a decent plate of chips for the money, if you want something less than a sandwich to nibble on while waiting for a plane. It does seem a little pricey, $ 15 for a sandwich, fries, tea, and tip, but then you are a trapped customer in an airport. The options can be a lot worse, as many of us know.

This was definitely the best airport Chili’s I’ve ever been to. Way better service than I experienced at pretty much any Chili’s. Food quality was still the same(i.e. not good). But they were much faster than any other Chili’s. And they were great about letting us charge our phones. So this is a great spot to stop at for just a beer and a phone charge. Or, if you are short on time, this is a great spot for a fast bite to eat.

GOODFOODTHAT’S FAST!!! Best thing about this place is that it’s fast. Fastest restaurant I’ve been to in a while. I believe it’s because they know that people have flights to catch. I got the«BIGMOUTHBURGERS» and thought they were pretty tasty! Got a beer too! I posted a picture of it! :p Our server was FERNANDO. Great guy! Checked on us an adequate amount of times, and totally deserved the 20% tip that we gave him.(Paid him all in $ 2 bills). HIGHLY recommended if you are looking for a quick bite to eat in Terminal C of the Tampa International Airport!

From June to Oct 2010 I went to this place every Friday while waiting for my flight to Fort Lauderdale. It became my Cheers and I loved it. There’s no better feeling than being a regular at a cool bar. Now granted, this was as cool as a Chili’s could be, but with the constant influx of random people in the airport it was elevated to a whole new level of awesome. The food was always super quick. That’s something I wish more restaurants would learn to do. Since I always sat at the bar I got to know the lovely bartending staff very well. They took great care of me even having my drinks ready as they saw me walking toward them. More times than I care to admit I closed out the bar. If you do swing by look for Alicja or Theresa, you’ll have a fantastic time in a very relaxed atmosphere.

Chili’s was right by the us airways gate and the only sit down option. They had some terminal seating and some inside the restaurant. The service was friendly and quick which was exactly what I needed. i ordered the Quesadilla Explosion Salad and loved it! I think they sprinkled a little Old Bay over the salad too which made it so much better!
