Love shopping here! They have all your Italian food needs. I wasn’t fond of the Cuban sandwiches they make, but everything else was awesome!

Cacciatore Bros. is a great meat market and with a small grocery selection, it can be a one stop shop if needed. The meat counter can be a little intimidating on a busy weekend morning. Be prepared to wait your turn once you pull a number and have your list ready when you are called because it is a fast paced system. Check their Facebook page for specials and mention the secret code when ordering. They also have a daily special in the regular ad(also posted on Facebook.) There are great deals on steak when you buy the whole loin and they will cut it into steaks and trim the fat for free. On top of the meat, they have wine, great cheese selection, Cuban sandwiches to go, and my husbands favorite Cinderella cheesecake. The only thing that Cacciatores is lacking is a good seafood selection but I noticed a new seafood market opened next door so I will have to check it out!

I know everyone out there is all about Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and Mazzero’s and I am not knocking them but this is the place to go if you are on a budget, cook a lot, and like to cook Italian or Spanish foods. This small grocery store in Town N Country is a great place to go for meat. Their butchers are always busy helping customers, and they are very efficient. We like to get chicken breasts in bulk as well as ground beef and steaks. The big grocery chains can’t beat these prices and it is easy to come home and portion it out for freezing. Also, they make their own sausages and have a pretty good sized deli. They also have a good selection of cheeses, spices and affordable wines. The produce section is small, but what they have is always in good condition. I mentioned Italian and Spanish cooking. You will find pastas, bulk lentils and beans, and tons of canned goods or sauces that you will not get in most grocery stores so if you are making a dish that calls for red lentils and can’t find them elsewhere without paying an arm and a leg, come here. They don’t have a bakery here, but they do have La Segunda Cuban bread, and really, what else do you need?

Been here a ton of times. Used to live down the street. Great for meats and a few imported items. Otherwise, they ain’t got nothing exclusive. I’m sure that back in the day the stuff they carry was more uncommon, but with America’s evolving taste most of their grocery items can be purchased in the ethnic aisle of your favorite grocery chain for a cheaper price. Focus on their meats, cheeses and the frozen Italian items in the front of the store.

This market is really a classic. It is not glitzy and sparkly with exotic and wild selections, but is bright, clean and packed with every Italian item you may be looking for. The meat area has a beautiful selection of top-grade goods and the produce section is full of the freshest vegetables and fruits. The rest of the store is loaded with pastas, pastries, wines breads and all the goodies that make this cuisine so loved. The prices are very good, and the service is helpful, quick and genuine. We love this gem!

This is the ONLY place I purchase my beef(ground, steaks, roasts, fillets etc) and chicken! They ALWAYS have incredible prices on their basic meats(check out their FB page for insane savings) and the quality can’t be beat anywhere in town. When they run specials, I will make the trip and stock my freezer accordingly. Make sure you remind the counter guys of the sale prices(often running several sale specials at the same time) or you’ll end up paying much more. They have quite a bit of Italian, Cuban«specialty» items which is a nice treat to find in one store if you’re looking for them or are in a pinch and don’t want to make another trip somewhere else. Although they do have a small selection of veggies, fruits, prepared foods, canned goods, bread, dairy, wines, deli etc, I find their prices to be higher than other stores. I don’t typically shop for those items because of it. The counter help is always courteous and helpful.

Ok 29 years with my family shopping here I asked for ½ of lasagna fresh in the window the man behind the counter said no ¾ pound available over on the other side I complained and the young manager said o we’ll take it or leave it. REALLY bad service and I will never shop their again. Publix thank you. I will tell everyone now what to expect when shopping their.

You want to cook Italian food? At least keep it some what close? I would 100% recommend you shop here. I don’t buy my chicken anywhere else. There food is always fresh and they have amazing Caprese salad at their deli. I should of lowered my rating to a four because their bread is always hard. That isn’t good enough to lower my rating because everything and I mean everything is soooooo good & most importantly FRESH!

Cacciatore Bros has a good selection of meats, seafood, produce, and other products. The produce we have gotten was very good. Both the fresh mozzarella and cheddar cheese we bought there molded very quickly. We had some of their homemade chicken sausages, which were tasty. All their proteins always look very good.

We recently checked this market out and were pleasantly surprised with the wide variety of food offered. My family was thrilled to see the variations of high end meat which was available to pick from. We stocked up on some various hams as well as four different cheeses. Everything we had was incredibly fresh and sliced perfectly. What they offer is something that can’t really be found anywhere else, that I’ve found, in Tampa. We’ll be making this one of our regular stops going forward.

HIGHLYHIGHLY recommend this place! Great selection of different meats for amazing prices. We purchased aged steak for $ 4.99/lb, goat, rabbit, & all types of different meats(sorry, we are weird)! Low on fish selection, but it is a meat market & what they had was at a great price. We spent $ 100 for 1month worth of meat for two big eaters! Money saved$$ def will be a returning customer, not to mention recommending this place.

My rating is mainly for the great variety of steaks and pricing. Cacciatore Bros. is well located, offers good parking, and has a decent selection on produce. I strongly recommend them for the cuts of steak, you’ll find Delmonico, T-Bone, Porterhouse, Loins, Filets… you name it, they likely have it. The steaks are very reasonably priced. As far as the produce, they are typical to those of other Italian markets, nice deli, great wine list, you’ll find a little bit of everything here. Not sure there’s any other place like it in Tampa.

This Italian deli and grocery story is a little old looking but is well stocked with meats and cheese any home Italian chef may desire. There’s also a whole aisle dedicated to sauces and noodles and such. You can do you regular shopping here to a degree for milk and vegetables, but nothing is the finest or the freshest. There’s a very limited, simple sandwich list, a decent international wine selection and some fine crackers and cheese. I picked up olives and cured meats and cheeses along with a loaf of bread to make my own Italian picnic. The chocolate cannoli was large and scrumptious.

This is a very cool Italian market with a big time meat section and some primo produce and baked goods from local bakeries(Alessi, La Segunda, etc.). Cacciatore specializes in meat and prepared take n bake foods from their deli department. It’s a Tampa gem and fun to explore. I was disappointed that they wouldn’t stock a type of cheese I like(aarmenian string cheese). But they do offer lots of tasty cheeses, prices are reasobable, there are some deals and it’s fun ito ezplore their Italian goodies, fesh produce, and other ethnic fare including some Latin food. In the same plaza there is a Peruvian rotisserie place, an Indian food market, Skateworld for roller skating, and a vase place.

Several years ago I frequenred this store and was quite happy with it, today not so much. The meat looked lifeless and fatty and the prices weren’t great. They have many specialty items that I Iove and after checking them out, was even more dissatisfied and disappointed. My purchases ended up being shelled sunflower seeds and starter herb plants $ 1.49, always $ 1.99 and up. What’s a girl to do? Years pass and people, places & things change.

This specialty market is definitely making it on my list of to-go places at least once a month to pick up some items. If you like them on Facebook, you can find out about their weekly specials and coupons. If the special is on meat, be sure to tell the staff behind the meat counter who will adjust the price tag sticker accordingly(the cashier will shrug their shoulders at you and make you do the same… yes I found out the hard way). The workers behind the counters were all very friendly. Their produce aisle is small but they did have the basics at fair prices. I was most drawn to their specialty products, cheese aisles and deli section. They had a huge variety of canned sardines alone! I wish I had more time to explore each aisle for ingredients to add to my pantry. Next time!

Cacciatore Brothers is a well-known west Tampa landmark that has been offering Italian and Latin favorites in a small European-style market along Hanley Road for many years. If you have found El Mofongazo Restaurant, then look directly across the parking lot and you’re staring at the front doors to Cacciatore Brothers. Like many of the local neighborhood markets in Latin America and the Caribbean, Cacciatore’s is well stocked with deli foods, extremely fresh produce, pastries, beans, rices, pastas, sauces and seasonings. Add to that shelves filled with countless boxed and canned goods, coolers of beer and sodas, and homemade spice blends. In addition Cacciatore’s has a full wine shop, and a huge butcher shop /meat counter extending along two sides of the store with freshly sliced cheese, cold cuts, homemade sausages, and a fantastic selection of custom-cut steaks, beef, chicken, pork, seafood and fish. They had some amazing special pricing on steaks, ribs, and pork roasts today, so I loaded up for the Holidays. As an example, the boneless pork loin was $ 2.99 a pound, and so a nice 4-pound roast for $ 12, along with a bag of yellow rice and some black beans, and I’m good for the week! Well worth a visit if you’re in the neighborhood.
