One of my favorite spots for lunch in Tampa. You’re always very warmly greeted upon entering. They are very accommodating for whatever crowd you bring. We have come for business meetings, and they ensure you’re in a quiet area or with my child, away from the hustle. I always order a cup of the lobster bisque. It’s creamy with a hint of spice on your palate. It’s the right thickness for a bisque and never disappoints. A great option is the soup and salad combo with this for $ 11.95. They have a great wine selection, and fruity cocktails. If I could change one thing, I would like to see them add some bourbon cocktails and less fruity martinis. Lastly, for a mostly pasta based restaurant it is nice to be see they offer gluten free options as well.

Upscale enough to have a peaceful meal with the ambiance and feel of a small restaurant in Manhattan. We bring or child. They offer nutritionally dense entrees while keeping an upbeat atmosphere. The place isn’t too bright and isn’t too dark. The cocktails are of a decent selection. Sometimes the servers make mistakes, but then again, they aren’t robots. Great place to eat to reenergize for shopping sprees.

My sister, nephew, and I came here for a Friday afternoon lunch and everything was perfect! Our servers name was Mike. He was on top of everything! He recommended the strawberry Fresca drink and it was amazing! We also ordered lobster bisque and Caesar salad, both were prepared perfectly and came out really fast. The restaurant was fairly busy and our server had several other tables but he was very attentive and friendly. Definitely 5 star worthy for atmosphere, customer service, food, and drinks. We will be back whenever we are in the area!

Always liked this place, just had our baby shower there! First off, I would like to thank the banquet staff of Scott, Robby, and Mario for being kick-ass! You made it really easy for my mother– and sister-in-law to get everything decorated. The food was really good, the pasta and chick were very good, and the individual tiramisus were OUTSTANDING! I have eaten there ala carte, and it is always very good, but thanks again for helping us make our baby shower truly memorable. If you are having an event, I would absolutely recommend this place! Update: the food tastes even better the next day! Thanks again!

Omg, came here for Sunday brunch, had the crab crusted salmon and the Beau had pesto pasta. His, good-mine, BOMB! This dish came at the suggestion of our extremely attentive waiter and boy was he right! Wasn’t on the menu so if you go, be sure to ask for it. Nice piece of perfectly cooked salmon, topped with pure crab meat– no filler cooked(med well) atop quinoa, and roasted veggies! DELISH!!!

Excellent spot! Stopped by here with the parentals on the way to the airport. We were in a hurry(only had about 45 minutes) so we sat at the bar. We were fat and happy(and drunk) in about 20. No joke. The place was busy too. So the bartender was great; she made a few wine-by-the-glass recommendations that panned out. I got a fish(I forget which kind – I think cod? some white fish) over a bed of pasta and it was AWESOME. My dad got a linguine with a cream sauce and some shrimp and lobster. Also bomb! My mom got the minestrone soup and that was solid as well. The bread(real bread and little crispy triangles) is excellent. Bartender(who was our server) was great. No complaints! Will be back!

Came here for lunch with my mom and grandma and so glad we did! the service was excellent; friendly, helpful and they kept our glasses full. I ordered the Lobster Bisque, my mom and grandmother had a half caesar salad and a half ‘soup of the day.’ First came these delicious rolls and crispy parmesan crisps. We went through three baskets of the heavenly carbs(mostly thanks to me). My soup was excellent. The presentation was excellent. My mom and grandmother raved about their food too. So happy I was able to go here. They definitely left me hungry for more!

I came here for Happy Hour, but I ended up ordering a Chicken Caesar salad. It was huge and delicious. My dad ordered the beef carpaccio and the happy hour portion was large and at a great price! I have been here before and loved the lobster ravioli. It also has a beautiful atmosphere and outdoor seating.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner and we were very satisfied with our meal. The staff we encountered were all friendly and smiling. We ordered the spicy shrimp bruschetta to start, and it was wonderful. I had the salmon as my entrée, and it was cooked perfectly. The décor of this place is very nice, and the location is convenient if you’re planning on spending time in the mall.

Okay, but nothing to write home about. I’d compare it to a Carraba’s, nicer Olive Garden, etc. Extensive menu where everything is fine, but nothing is really excellent. Overpriced for unimaginative fare.

I love coming to Brio, it never disappoints! Their private rooms are amazing! Have organized and been to so many different events here over the years. The banquet rooms are perfect for bridal showers, birthdays, graduations, baby showers — pretty much any reason you can think of to get friends and family together! On my most recent visit I came here with a group of about 8 people. Everything was great as usual. We did sangria(red and white) pitchers for the table as well as Bellini pitchers. Had a few apps, my favorite was the calamari. For my main course I had the salmon from the light menu. It was very tasty! I also ordered the shrimp dish from the light menu to take home. The dish was good, had a nice kick to it, and it was brought to my table in a timely manner. On the weekends they have a brunch menu that you can order off of also. Their patio seating is very enjoyable, and is covered. I would definitely give Brio a try if you haven’t!

Impeccable service. Incredible food. Wonderful atmosphere. We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the Tampa area. I am SO glad we came. I highly recommend it. I had the Salmon Fresca and it was perfect. The veggies and salmon were grilled and still had the fire flavor. Amazing. Update: minutes after I wrote the review above, the waitress asked if we wanted dessert. Normally we say no, but our entrees were so good that we figured why not look at the dessert options? She came back with a tray display of the actual options! We had the chocolate bread pudding to share. Every bite was so good I didn’t want it to end! Truly a well rounded restaurant in the quality of service and food.

Brio is a great place for lunch or dinner while shopping at International Plaza! It’s not my favorite international Plaza restaurant, but definitely ranks in the top 3. I’ve been to this Brio location several times, but the most recent visit was a working lunch. Our group of 5arrived around 11:45 were seated and greeted immediately. After explaining the daily specials, are server took our drink order, and promptly returned with drinks and a bread basket. The bread basket had several different types — traditional Italian bread, as well as flatbread type crisp things — both delish. We started out with an appetizer: the calamari fritto misto. It was great, we all enjoyed it and ate every piece. Our entrée orders varied: I ordered the Grilled Salmon salad, which I enjoyed. My co-workers ordered the Bruschetta Quattro(pretty small for an entrée if you ask me), the applewood bacon and fontina burger(looked like the best dish on the table if you ask me!), the campanelle carbonara, and the mezze chicken limone. No complaints, and not many leftovers to be had, as we all gobbled up our meals. I give Brio a 4 all around for food, service, ambience.

No matter how many times I come here I’m never dissatisfied, my favorite dish is the pasta alla vodka and I always add shrimp can you say«Yummy». Now must commend them on their children’s menu it is the first I’ve seen that had more then chicken fingers. The drinks are always a hit even down to their house wines.

I recently visited Brio Tuscan Grille with a few friends for a birthday brunch. Let’s begin with the décor. The interior is absolutely stunning; it gives off an authentic and fancy Italian feel. Granted, I’ve never been to Italy, but if it’s anywhere near as gorgeous as Brio, then I’m sure I’d love it! The ceilings are vaulted and there are a variety of options for private dining events. There’s also a shaded patio if you’d like to enjoy the(occasionally) beautiful Florida weather while you eat. The meal began with a delicious loaf of warm bread and some crispy flat bread pieces. We all loved the bread! One friend ordered the lobster bisque and the tomato & mozzarella caprese. Another had the beef carpaccio. I decided on the Sicilian omelette, which comes with ham, bacon, and sausage. I thought it was very good, except that there was hardly any cheese inside of it. The brunch potatoes that came on the side were fantastic though! The major downfall of our visit was the service. We arrived ten minutes late for our reservation and were met with looks of disgust by the hostess, despite our apologies. If the place was crowded, I would have understood their frustration. However, it was 11:45 on a Sunday morning and the restaurant wasn’t even half full! Once we were seated, our server arrived at our table for drink orders, yet we weren’t ready so we asked for waters to start with. It took fifteen minutes just for the water to arrive, and he rushed off as soon as he set them down. He also never introduced himself, so we figured he may not be our waiter. After awhile, he eventually came back and we decided to order everything at once so we didn’t have to wait another 10 minutes to order our food. Our drinks were never refilled at any point and although our server passed our table multiple times, he never stopped to ensure that everything came out right. To add insult to injury, our checks were messed up at the end of the meal. For the price and appearance of Brio, I’d expect a higher quality service. The food was decent but nothing to rave about. The next time I’m in the mood for Italian food, I don’t think Brio will be at the top of my list.

My friend and I were at International Plaza Mall. We closed up the mall only to realize that we hadn’t eaten since lunch. So we headed over to the Bay Street side of the mall where all the restaurants are. I knew there was a Cheesecake Factory, but even at 9:15pm the place was packed and had a wait. We looked at The Pub, but they had live music and although the music was good it was entirely too loud for us. We don’t get to see each other often so we wanted to talk and catch up. We decided on Brio because shockingly neither of us had ever been there. We’ve seen them and thought about checking them out before, but just never had. We went in and were promptly seated. I had a glass of the Sangria Rosa. She had a glass of the Peach white sangria. I much preferred her sangria. The peach was a delicate flavor. The Sangria Rosa wasn’t really sangria at all. It had a strong raspberry flavor and was made with sparkling wine. Our sever brought us a bread plate and the sourdough was excellent. I didn’t want to, but I couldn’t stop myself from eating it. It was excellent. It was pretty late and the portions appeared rather large so we decided to split and entrée and salad. We started with the Caesar salad. It was very good. The dressing was excellent and our server knew we were splitting so she kindly split the salad in advance. For our entrée we shared the pasta alla vodka. This was some of the best vodka sauce I have had. It was creamy and had a little bit of kick to it. It was actually kind of spicy. I really liked it. Also, the pasta was like a tortellini and it was filled with cheese. The cool cheese in the pasta paired beautifully with the spicy elements of the vodka sauce. Overall, we really enjoyed Brio and I am kind of mad I didn’t try it sooner. I will definitely be back.

And now introducing Troffiette! Sausage and Roasted Tomato Sausage is Rustic artisan-style pasta(Troffiette), chili flake, broccoli, rosemary, Parmesan, toasted bread crumbs. This braided pasta is the perfect shape, texture, and firmness that compliments the sauce and incredible flavors. The atmosphere, while not romantic, is very intimate despite the over sized columns and open space. The staff was friendly, but a bit disorganized due to the 4 pm shift change. My fiancé had the Pasta Alla Vodka(Ricotta-filled pasta, spicy tomato Parmesan cream sauce, crispy pancetta, basil) which did not disappoint. Beware of the upsell to add lobster or shrimp etc to this dish. The pancetta is a perfect protein for this dish and others would take away from the perfect combination of flavors.

Why 4 stars, the lasagna was amazing, the wine was great, the setting was great and the service was good, its a good night out and you have the choice to sit inside or out and if it rains you are undercover so no worries. They have a great Bar, all in all it is a fun place and ok for the kids also.
