Yet another awesome Florida dive bar! Wish they did them like this in Illinois. This place is connected to a liquor store(of course) and is easily missable. And the bar area is small. But the bartender(I forgot her name; I suck at names) was probably one of the friendliest bartenders I’ve ever met. It’s definitely a neighborhood joint but not so much where you’d feel awkward when you walk in. Surprisingly, drinks aren’t cheap. They’re certainly not expensive, but they’re not dive bar cheap. Domestic bottles were about $ 3.50 from what I recall. Shot specials were $ 5; I don’t see what’s so special about that. But they have Touchtunes, which I love and some video bowling game where you can win a free beer if you get a high enough score. As with any good dive bar, you can smoke inside. It’s not the best dive bar I’ve been to, but I did like it a lot and will definitely be back when I reluctantly go across the bridge again into Tampa.

This place is a bit out of the way, but worth it. When you walk in the door, the lounge is to your left & the liquor store is to your right. The lounge is small, intimate, clean, cute & friendly. The liquor store is not the prettiest I’ve ever seen, but, the employees totally make up for anything the appearance may lack. Almost everyone who comes in there is a *Regular*. The staff hug, shake hands with, & know many of the customers by name. They are so warm, so friendly, so hysterically funny that it was a memorable pleasure to be there! I was a Promo Model there that day, spending 3 hours sampling Chivas Regal. It was the most enjoyable gig I’ve ever worked, & would recommend that anyone adopt Brahman Lounge & Liquors & become a *Regular*, too. Loved it!
