Very interesting business model. The option to choose fruits and veggies that customer likes and wants is the best. On the down side is the fact that people miss out on the experience to go outside and «participate» in picking out fresh food themselves. Overall — kudos for initiative.

Just received our first delivery from Amy’s. We used the $ 20 livingsocial deal. The produce we got looks super fresh and is good quality – firm, fresh, undamaged, MUCH better than the grocery store. It’s definitely not all «local» grown considering there were apples and bananas in the mix, but whatever. Produce showed up on our doorstep in a really nice insulated bag that I’ve already been re-​using. Quantities seemed small for us, but maybe not for a family needing supplemental produce. Honestly, I’ll probably skip ordering from here any time soon and opt to hit up my local organic farm on the weekend or even the flea market but for $ 20 it was worth trying.

AFD has provided me with an easy alternative for supporting local farmers and organic fruits & veggies. Amy’s prices are competitive and her products are AMAZING! Also, I love the bonus item and recipe — so many new ideas! Thanks, Hamill family!!!
