Crest Lake Dog Park

It’s kept up well yet there are homeless people there and each time I go dog owners of large dogs think it’s ok to bring their dogs into the medium dog (40 lb and under) section. It ruins my experience because I will not bring my dog or small kids into that area where there are Great Danes and other large dogs. Other dog parks around have friendly people who listen to the dog park rules.

This is a well maintained dog park. I love that it has four different areas for dogs. We were in the small dog area and there’s so much space for the dogs to run around. Although ours never strays too far or if she wanders around, she does regular check-​ins with us. Silly pooch. There are plenty of seating areas for humans too.

This is a great park with 4 different areas for dogs. The area for midsize dogs has a lot of bare dirt though making it a bit messy. Overall, it is a beautiful park. There are many regulars that bring their pooches often making it easy for your pup to make friends. There’s a trail around the lake with geese and at least one dock area to walk out on and a playground for the kiddos. The homeless and drug addicts that seem to always be hanging out at the park may make some uncomfortable.

Ok so this is one of the most beautiful dog parks I have ever been to and I have been to a lot of dog parks. It has such a gorgeous view of the lake. It is very well maintained. The trees in the park are so beautiful too. There are actually 3 different enclosed areas to choose from (or is it 4?) One is for small dogs only, one is for large dogs only, and one is for all size dogs. This dog park is so nice! But there is one thing that I definitely need to mention… And it is the only thing that makes my rating 4 stars instead of 5. There are a lot of homeless people at this park. And sketchy looking people too. Not in the dog park, but around it. I wouldn’t really feel totally comfortable going to this park alone because of this. There is also one area of the park where there were about 20 men just standing around talking. I have no idea what they were doing, but it was weird and they were watching us as we got out of our car and as we walked into the dog park area. This dog park is open until 9pm and even has lights to light up the park which is so awesome, but I would definitely never feel safe coming here at night. What a bummer. I wish this wasn’t the case because it is such a gorgeous park, it really is.

This is an excellent dog park. It is well-​maintained and clean. It is beautifully situated by a lake and with lots of shade trees and benches. There are several separate areas for dogs depending on size or if you want to go in an area where all sized dogs are welcome. The dog owners seem to take control of their pets here as well and are a very social group.

I come here almost every day. There is free parking in a lot across Glenwood ave. 4 different dog parks here. Each has a sign designating the size of dog permitted in the park– small, medium, large, or all dogs. But honestly, the only people reinforcing those rules are the other patrons. & even then, only the crotchety old bags in the small dog park do that. The people can be a bit cliquey at times but the dogs are always nice! I’ve only seen a few incidences of dogs getting in skirmishes in the hundreds of times that I’ve been here.
There is a drinking fountain in each park for both humans & doggies, & double gates at each entrance to keep your furball from running out. There is also a lake with a paved path around it for walking your dog, & a playground if you have kids.
The best time to come is after work & weekends. That is when the most dogs will be there for playtime. :)

Located across from tag office on gulf to bay. great place to bring your dog.2 pens one for small dogs one for big dogs or you can just walk around the lake. I have even seen some dogs swimming in the lake. there are park benches and a couple picnic tables for people watching and or lunch. very scenic and relaxing.
