The sandwich section needs to get their act together. I have been staying close by for a week getting my dinners here nightly. What normally takes 5min in any other Publix is 20 here. The staff doesn’t care if you wait, as long as they have good time chatting and doing their thing. Where is management !!!

I really like coming to this Publix. There are several Publix near my apartment, but I choose to go to this one because it is newer, has an easy to navigate floor plan, and the employees are all very nice. The produce department has a very large selection, and so do the deli and the meat departments. Anytime I want a smaller amount of something, the employees have always been quick and happy to aid me. Another perk to this Publix is that the lines never seem to be that long. Most often I only have to wait behind one person, two people tops.

Visited a Publix that was out of my neighborhood. So I was not sure what to expect as different area Publix can be different. But this one was very nice. It was clean and quiet. Everything was fresh and staff as nice. We were greeted in the aisle as the staff was working, Overall I was satisfied with this Publix.

I love Publix deli!!! I had a craving for a yummy hand made ham and swiss with cucumbers banana peppers lettuce tomato oil vinegar and mayo… yummy I also bought a side of potato salad and classic cole slaw. I was impressed by both. The slaw was crunchy and evenly balanced. The potato salad had onions carrots and perfect seasonings. Good job Publix Deli!

This is my favorite Publix, mostly because it’s the closest one to my house. I’ve found the major difference between different Publix to be the fresh food sections. This location has a very large selection of fruits, vegetables and meats. You will continue to see me check in here weekly!

I am a frequent shopper at this store due to location and convenience. Between my spouse and I, we shop here at least 2 – 4 times per week. If it were not so convenient, I would switch to another Publix. Physically, the interior of this location is nice, feels new and is well maintained. The problem areas of this store are its inventory and staff. I suspect that management is the problem. Over the past year, several of the items that I purchase are no longer on shelves. They are fairly popular or common items that most every other Publix store carries. These items vary from dept to dept. I have always known Publix to replenish if you make a request at the customer service counter. About a year ago, I made a couple requests that resulted in «one off» restocking. Naturally the items flew off the shelves, only to never be stocked again. What a nuisance to have to request common foods every month. Recently, after my request, it was clear they didn’t care and failed to phone me or restock the items. These were items they ALWAYS carried. The other major downfall of this store is the staff. I sometimes go out of my way to shop at the Oakland Park Blvd. store that feels much older and more hectic. However, I never leave that store without 3 — 5 smiling hellos from staff and having a least one chat. Checkout clerks and baggers are always so happy to receive my compliments of their friendliness. Conversely, the Commercial Blvd store seems unhappy and unfriendly. It’s bad enough that the cost of groceries is so high, but to check out with clerks and baggers that barely say hello let alone look at you is a downer. They also have one chatty, obnoxious, rude bagger that you can hear throughout the store. I go out of my way to avoid that line even if it is long! After the frustration of not finding items, feeling that you are overpaying for basic goods and then going through the checkout of doom, I feel like running out of the store and fleeing(always committing to shop elsewhere). I can only blame this store’s issues on management. It is clear that people are not happy working there because of it. I am not happy shopping there because they do not respect regular shopper’s needs. I feel like this store continues to dictate what they want me to buy or not buy. They make it difficult to spend money on the neighborhood level. Having to write this review is a clear indication that it is worth my time and gas to shop elsewhere. Side note: I have two bank cards that will not even allow me to charge at this location(or Marshalls in this strip mall). This particular Publix is on their«no charge» list due to fraudulent activity. Talk about downright inconvenience.

Spacious Publix with a large selection of ethnic products. Found some items that I usually don’t see in Orlando. Checkout was fast and efficient.

3rd time not having multigrain bread for subs. Unacceptable. Subs are better at other Publix’s anyway but this one is closest to me. The fact that I only come here when I dont feel like driving down to Dixie and yet I only come maybe twice a year says it all. If u cant atleast have the right bread for the subs then I will just stop come completely. Only gets a 2nd star because Publix is still the best grocery chain around.

This is one of the fancier publix in the area, and although there is one slightly closer to my house, on occasions I will go a little out of my way for this one since it is just so clean and pretty.

I hate to say it, but Publix is the last place I want to go when looking for groceries. Sadly, it is one of the few options open to us here. While the store is always clean and well laid out, that’s about the best I can say. If you’re looking for ethnic ingredients that you’ve seen in other chain grocery stores, you aren’t likely to find them here. My pet peeve is that many things in the produce section are prepackaged in certain numbers. Maybe I don’t want 3 zucchini. Maybe the one in the middle looks like the harvested it a month before the others. And really, what am I going to do with a chunk of fresh ginger the size of a melon when my recipe calls for a tablespoon? While they will separate a package for you, that means you have to track someone down, and that isn’t easy. We’ve also had a frequent problem with veggies(especially onions) that look great on the outside and are rotten at the core, to borrow a phrase. Yet there is nothing substandard about the prices, they are well into the«above average» range. I wish we had more choices for food shopping.

I’m taking away a star bc I feel like they are seriously lacking on keeping the shelves and produce stocked. friendly service is few and far between and they seem to avoid eye contact if you were to ask if there was some in the back.

This Publix really leaves me feeling conflicted sometimes. The customer service is a crapshoot — I go some days and the cashier and bagger won’t speak a word, even when I say hello, but the produce department has very nice people. I have no experience with the deli or bakery people. The customer service desk is horrible — one day i was in line and the cashier told another Publix employee(who must have been off shift or on break) to get in front of me. While I totally understand the time crunch while on break(I used to be a grocery store cashier), neither of them asked me if I was ok with that — it’s like I wasn’t even there when i was actually standing at the counter looking at her. The food is diverse and I’m glad for that, but the horrible customer service on the front end overshadows that.
