The food here is good, but the service is definitely terrible. They are not very friendly, which doesn’t make you feel welcomed, and they take way too long to prepare your order, whether its called in advance, or placed at the counter. 20 minutes to make 2 cold hoagies is definitely too long. Need to improve the service, especially with the slight increase in prices. Every time we go, it pushes us away and makes us reconsider dining here again. Needs some improvement. Customers are supposed to be the number one priority and the employees need to make them feel that way.

My favorite thing about large family events in the Tamaqua area is the chicken finger platter from Pieracini’s. Mmmmmm. My family orders takeout from here pretty regularly. No matter what we order it’s usually ready within 20 minutes and I don’t recall a time when we’ve had an issue. They added seating inside, but it is sometimes hard to find parking outside as the streets are so narrow and usually there’s a pretty steady flow of traffic. It’s a good place if you need to pick up something quick for lunch or dinner. Tasty food!

This use to be the best place for subs. Within the last few years it’s been getting worse. I ordered some hoagies for a picnic only to find mold on the roll. I didn’t go back for a while but later decided to give it another go. I brought hoagies home for a quick dinner and there was barely any meat on it. It was ALL bread. For $ 9, that’s a slap in the face. I always support the local businesses but unfortunately, this won’t be one of them anymore. It’s a shame.

Pieracini’s has delicious bread for their sandwiches, the food doesn’t take long to get ready and its all reasonably priced. Pretty much the only good thing about Tamaqua, PA.
