Stopped by for a bagel and some coffee. Really nice inside and the staff was helpful.

Traveling down I-​20, I needed a quick detour offering Wi-​Fi and a caffeine jolt. What I found was a hidden gem of a coffee shop. From what I can gather, it’s a family-​run business, and the family was extremely kind and generous to me.
The coffee was exactly what was needed, and the homemade peanut butter pie is a must. The location is right alongside a railroad, and the quaint charm of the town meshes wonderfully with the trendiness of the coffee shop. Will be back if ever in the area.

I grew up in Tallapoosa, and I haven’t been a resident there in many years. But I still go home to visit my family, and I make sure to stop by K & M Coffee at LEAST twice on every visit. How cool is it that a sleepy southern town can have a high-​end, high-​quality coffee shop? The sandwiches are just as tasty. I often have the iced mocha freeze or the peanut butter mocha freeze. The owners are lovely people, and so very kind to everyone. They remembered me when I came back months later after my first visit! I give them a 5-​star plus rating.

If you’re ever traveling through or visiting Tallapoosa, you absolutely must stop here. This hidden gem should be showcased in «America’s best coffee houses,» if such a thing existed. I live in New York City, and I am not from this area. I stumbled upon this cute little café during my travels, and it was incredible.
Their mochas taste like drinking an espresso brownie. Their sandwiches and wraps can be made with regular, pesto, or chipotle mayo. I had the Club wrap with pesto mayo. Absolutely delicious.
The café is spacious with beautiful décor, free wifi, art on the walls, comfy seating everywhere, board games, and super sweet owners, Kellie and Michael.
Whether you’re just grabbing a cup of coffee to go or planning to spend a few hours relaxing with a bite to eat, you will not be disappointed.
